Excellent stuff thanks, would love to see more. Interesting to see how different Juha's notes are to Colin's (when with Grist). Seem much simpler!

Those old times.......25 years had passed. I was one of the time keepers in 1996 Rally of Indonesia.

Toyota used to tell crews on safari to go out and try n break the car to find the weak spots...top vid cheers

1996? Toyota had been banned the year before. Or was this a private entry but still with Castrol and Marlboro sponsorship? Looks like the full TTE effort in this.

It’s a full TTA (Toyota Team Australia) effort ;-)

I think that was a semi-works entry. Toyota entered the 1996 season with regional branches of their works teams (such as Toyota Team Australia or Toyota Kenya) and of course private teams
