But unlike Colombia, the US has many cars on the road, and the demand for a tram-rail or something similar wouldn't be in high demand... In Colombia, most of their people use public transportation (buses, taxis, etc.), walk to their destinations, and or use motorbikes to commute over an area where millions are tightly packed in within their city limits - compared to San Antonio where everything is spread out....

@@iseytheteethsnake6290 People like you are the reason why the US as a whole is so far behind in the quality public transportation. Literally every other country has figured out mass transit. The problem with Primo isn't the fact that it's a bus, it's the fact that it's just a Skip and a Frequent service wearing a trenchcoat as a BRT service. A Bus Rapid Transit service CAN be good if we actually put the damn work into getting all the things that are REQUIRED for a BRT to work. Primo did not meet the requirements to be a true BRT on all four routes that exist/have existed, which I view as a huge conceptual failure on their part. Look, I love my pickup, but honestly? If I could take the bus as my daily commute instead, I absolutely would. Unfortunately VIA completely axed all bus services in my area a few years ago, so commuting by a personal vehicle is now my ONLY option. At least now they're finally working on building a real BRT corridor with a dedicated right-of-way and everything, and I'm hoping to God that it's a success so they'll actually build more. Public transportation is not just for people who can't afford to maintain a car. It's supposed to be for EVERYONE. If you love you car so much that you're saying bus service should be eliminated entirely, then I hope you'll have fun sitting in the dense traffic that's only going to get worse as time goes on.
