Howdy! Welcome back to another commentary video on this channel! In this video, I rank VIA Rail's Diesel Locomotives (and a few extras). That's pretty much it! Enjoy!
I'm sure some will remember, but this is a re-upload from my other channel, @Trainboy9159 . I'm gonna be using that channel for Vlogs & the STILL upcoming Podcast, and this channel will still be for railfanning and commentary videos like the "Engines of Amtrak" parody series and more.

Fun fact with my knowledge of train history: F40PH was originally built for short distance until they were found out they were accidentally really good at far distance, it served with Amtrak until 1990s when the Dash 8s arrived, Eventually P40DCS and P32ACs arrived, It got its way out of service, Some F40PH got scrapped but some, survived with there original phase colours, VIA Rail Is the only “rail company,” that still “uses” there “F40PH,” with multiple conversions, such as the F40PH-2Ds, ETC.

If talking government owned railroads, MBTA, METRO NORTH and METRA still use them, along with a few other commuter rails.

VIA tried to donated one of the Turbo Train sets but alot of museums declined it, I believe its either the museums didn't have space or the preferred Old Diesels and Steam Locomotives

VIARailFan6448 would have been proud Speaking of VIARailFan6448, any time or chance to remake his Engines of VIA episodes, because I think his take on Engines of VIA is very rushed and not good in my opinion.

I have a question for you whenever you have the stuff on screen and I hear your voice in the background how do you make a video like that? Never done that and I have no idea how but I would like to try

That's a good question! I use programs called Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the videos and Audacity to record my voice and I slap them together, lol. I started out with Windows Movie Maker, I think that's a pretty good program to start with, there's also CapCut on phones, it's fairly easy to figure out.
