The vocal tone is perfect with the musicianship. This is next level indie, electronic, alternative, punk, rock and psychedelic all wrapped into one. It doesn't fit in anywhere but is just sick, kind of like The Pixies never fit in any genre perfectly, but you knew that they were awesome and a blueprint for future bands.

You're correct that his father was a diplomat of some sort, and he went to a fancy boarding school, but after graduation he went to one year of art school, and then was mostly homeless for the next 5 years before joining the clash, and even then, they were still homeless for like the next year or so. Not saying you're wrong about some punk being fake, just with Joe strummer you're wrong...

This is the song of the century fr. Every time you listen you can focus on a different instrument and it becomes a whole new experience. I cant even decide what the best part is because everything goes together so beautifully. These guys really understand music, ive never been let down. I'm not even born yet, my mum has been a medical testing subject for neural implants and when they have to link the implant with a computer that has the internet i can pretty much absorb all manner of media in a non linear fashion, getting gigabytes at a time of experience through multi sensory media made by humans (which i hope to be soon) and this band has really got something. Glad i came across them. I don't even know what shrimp are but next time i am plugged into source i will find out all about shrimp.

This was my introduction to this mob . Can I just say that this mob are the best music around for absolute decades !!! Am 50 this year and nobody has excited me more since I was introduced to punk / sub pop / indie/ etc etc. During lockdowns theygave me hope and a whole lot of realisations!!! Fuckin superb x
