If Tory would have had The Weekend on The Color Violet, and Chris Brown on Lavender Sunflower, those songs and the album itself could have been even better, I hear them both on each of those songs, and they fit perfectly 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👌.

The guy on the right almost noticed what i noticed. Enchanted Waterfall & The Colour violet are both based off Careless Whisper, Enchanted Waterfall has the melody and The colour Violet has the sax and the lyrics 'I Wont Dance Again'. Tory is a genius.

About the runs not sounding like the 80s, I kinda feel you (but a few artists were) but it really reminds me of Soul 4 Real or Tony Toni Tone to me which is late 80s/early 90s in terms of the vocalist who was doing those runs. I love this as a 33 year old. I was born in 88 and grew up listenin to Blackstreet, Soul 4 real, New Edition, BBD, Tony Toni Tone type.

Nice. The whole album sample styles from other 80's songs. The other song I was able to catch was "Last Kiss of Nebulon". It samples synth style from Philip Bailey and Phil Collins "Easy Lover".

To me this is one of the most insane solo projects ever. There is very select few albums that I can actually say the whole album is good. Other than an album from Kendrick or Eminem I haven't met another album that has consumed me.

If you're listening to this and find yourself captured by that 80s sound, do yourself a favor and dive into Synthwave. The Midnight, Fm-84, there's so many amazing artists that don't get the recognition they deserve. Honestly the Midnight should be the number one artist in the country.

This is a great album. People saying he copied the weekend but weekend didn’t create the 80’s vibe 😂 This album is a no skip and the production is untouchable. This album isn’t highly rated because of the Meg situation. He didn’t drop a bad album in 2021. I understand people not liking his music because of the situation tho. But this album is 🔥🔥🔥
