Broken light switch, I feel you. My light switch has been broken for a long time. Well, it fell off the wall and broke a wire but it still works for being 70 years old. My ceiling light shorted out recently and died and a few days ago my bed side lamp had an epic death when I went to unplug it. My room was dark so I couldn’t see that the wires were extremely frayed so when I unplugged it, BANG, sparks and a brief fire shot out of the plug and incinerated the plug. Now I am left with my 1986 F20T12 trigger start fluorescent light. I did stick a modern cooper lighting light switch where my old and rare Arrow H&H with uniline plate light switch was. I did not bother wiring it as the wires in the wall box were broken. I am on my 3 LED nightlight as my second one had lost about 30% of its total brightness since it was new, in total darkness btw.

Quarter second would sound like my grandma’s first alert SA67D / 83r smoke detector in the hall. If you could do a 90 bpm march time signal, you could possibly recreate a CGI VT series horn sound.

That buzzer looks oddly similar to the buzzer on my unknown elevator panel. I got 2 fluorescent lights recently and they are very old but still work and one has its original tube.
