Carina should understand that it is not babygames. If she want her wife she should be on her side and then step by step make understand her that there is a problem

Maya doesn't usually show emotions or speak about her feelings. Growing up it seems she just took anything as morphine to dull whatever aches her then go back to her usual routein.. carina has been cracking her open and making her vulnerable and raw and it's not something she's not used to...

I think they're trying to show them struggles of being together and how twk perople have too be open honest transparent about eveything. That's the problem with most relationships people keep stuff to themselves.. Maya has been thru a lot... and she's put in a lot of work.. I'd like to know what is going on with them right now.....how bad is it.

I hate putting all the blame on Maya. Carina has always been controlling and pushy. And that scene on the roof was terrible. Carina was terrible.

Have you ever had mental health issues? It's a thing called denial. They will deny they have mental health issues thinking they can cope. But then one day they will realise they can't cope and have as mental break down and seek help admitting they need it.

Well when someone has a mental health issue its not easy for them to admit it right away. It's a disease. They will try to deny it until it gets so bad they have to get help.

Yes! They have totally ignored all the progress Maya made. Then Carina has said some terrible things to Maya, especially on the roof. Then let’s have the entire team hate Maya and I really want to think we were past that after season 3. Like the writers said we want to talk about mental health so let’s have everyone turn on Maya plus give her another abusive father type and then cry mental health.

Thank you for saying this. It feels like blaming Maya and right in line with some of the terrible things people have long said to depressed people. Also Carina is not blameless. She is pushy and controlling and giving ultimatums that are rarely helpful.

Yes!! I have been so frustrated that people are portraying Carina as a saint and Maya as the crappy one. I think their childhood trauma has impacted them both. Carina needs to be in control at all times because of the chaos. And Maya doesn’t like feeling controlled because of her controlling father. I hope that Carina realizes that she is part of the problem and they both get some help dealing with their childhood trauma.

And you know this based on? Research is not in your side. Since 1980’s, people have been trying to demonize same sex parent families and the research (not opinion) has consistently shown that children in these families do at least as well in school and often have fewer mental health issues.
