This is actually my favorite of the PSP games. I wish Rockstar would add Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories to the PS4 as an emulator (similar to what they did in GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas).

Vice City Stories is such an excellent game. It has that 80s feel, a good story, a GREAT protagonist and antagonists, cool side activities, cool connections to Vice City and more.

Looking back, it's pretty interesting how GTA 3 is the final game in the 3D universe story-wise and VCS is the first game in story-wise. In real life, it's inverse.

The best thing Vic could have done was to report Jerry as soon as he got back to base on the first mission. But, since he is a lower rank, it would make sense that Vic would latch onto what Jerry would convince him to do. A lot of guys in the military fall for that trap all the time. They'll get to their first unit, and get taken in by the guys that have been there a while and start picking up their bad habits.

Martinez to me, came across as somebody that doesn't take his job or position seriously. Also, I noticed Vic salutes him even though a sergeant is an NCO. (Non-Commissioned Officer).

This was the only gta i owned on ps2 bc my cousin gave it to me without my mom knowing back in the day. Its so nostalgic watching pro play it, brings back memories!

Vice city stories was my first gta game I ever played, I got it when I was 7 years old for the ps2 lmao. My grandma came in with me to GAME and bought it for me and the person at the counter knew what was up and was insisting are you sure this is for you hahah will never forget that. Still never completed the game

Gta VCS was the second best gta from 3D era yet the most underated, go figure. It had the Empire system, which was dope, you could play golf, export cars, rob stores, all kinda of fun missions, the beautiest Vice City yet, and the most complete fight system.

Yes!!! Glad someone is finally putting Gta VCS in the spotlight, 100% that game on the psp when I was 8. Also has by far the best soundtrack of any gta. Hard pick when you put it up against SA's soundtrack.

VCS is very criminally underrated. One of my favorite 3D games.

This GTA had the best melee controls. You can take hostages, snap their neck, hold ememies and punch em and THE BEST UNDERRATED SOUNDTRACK.

I remember watching my older brother playing GTA Vice City Stories with his friend back between 2006 or 2007 when I was very little.

This was my childhood PSP game, besides Chinatown wars sadly I didn't get that far in either.

The last mission made me so mad when I played it, cause my father was a navy man who worked in the boilers of the ship, and I love the military. So when I saw that Victor got booted out of there for something his supposed so called “superior officer” it ground my gears to near dust

Man I loved the V-Rock radio station in this game. This game definitely has an amazing 1980’s soundtrack and I loved playing and listening to them when I played this game as a kid. I understand why you can’t play it but there’s no doubt it’s a great soundtrack.

My first impression of Martinez was that even though Martinez's missions are about drugs (which Vic hates), I never expected him to betray his own soldiers

Oh hell yeah this is one of my favorite GTA Games of all time I love how Vic is able to snap people's necks from behind I always do that in the army base for free M16's

I've never been to Miami, but I've been to Orlando (and outskirts) and I feel like the left island (the one where Little Havana is located) captured the Florida feel very well, specially the big avenue(?) that connects Downtown all the way to Viceport. And speaking of Viceport, the projects just north of it, where the Cholos are located in the second mission, I kinda got "lost" driving around Florida one day (I put north on the GPS instead of south and didn't realize it for a couple of hours), and there are parts in the state that look exactly like that. EDIT: Just remembered that my dad showed me once some photos of his trip to Miami and it looked a lot like Starfish Island, well at least the areas he took pictures of. EDIT 2: Just realized my dad has something in common with Vic, both were discharged from the military in the 80s bc of weed 😂😂

The Best Game in the PSP system

What is the most beautiful about GTA is the fact that GTA never gets old.

Vic Vance and Niko are by far the most human and realistic protagonists of the entire GTA franchise.

It'll feel so weird playing a game based on your state or town as everything will just remind you of your home and won't be able to immerse yourself in the game. Atleast that's how I feel.

It's actually crazy that you get betrayed in the 3rd mission of the game.

I'm from Miami, it's really trippy to see how Vice City is compared to real life. Like Washington beach isn't that big from their sands. Little Haiti should be north from downtown, and Little Havana should be more west next to the airport, and chance it to Brickell instead. Also our palm trees doesn't lean like that anymore, as far as today's go. There is no military base near the airport, only one is by Homestead, which is Homestead Air Reserve Base. We used to have a stadium in land, now it's gone and the Heat's arena is more by the water in Downtown.
