I feel sorry for the old man. It's obvious that the young guy is a gold-digger and doesn't like him. Yet the old man is so desperate to care for someone and be cared for that he chooses to ignore these things. The young guy seems too shallow and superficial for the deeper connection. It's sad that even old people fall for looks rather than the character.

So,he is in for the money,the priest had like 5 surgeries and because he couldnt make love with him,he left him(but didnt divorced him because he got an apartment in Bucharest from him and couldnt afforded to lose it) and is now in a relationship with a rich spanish guy around 50 yrs old,he said all that in a cooking show from romania a year ago,he also said that he felt in a depresion for 5 days because the priest didnt wanted to buy him a 30k dollars watch,so yea,that sums it all...
