I've seen them ask for 2 of the 5 of something before, meaning there are 5 possible correct answers and you get credit for naming any 2 of them.

There are often situations asking to give one of multiple choices, usually two.

I think specifically because the question had said "his full name"... But it does seem a little weird. Even if the concern is about confusion with Bill Clinton (who was never VP), I don't think there's been anyone by that name in Parliament Funkadelic.

Isn't the Clinton answer asking for "Who is Bill Clinton?" and not "Who is George Clinton?" I could see it being George if the end of the answer was phrased as "THIS P-Funk music legend", but it's phrased as "A P-Funk music legend", which means that the "He" referred to at the beginning is the subject of the answer.

No. The answer is George Clinton, vice-president during the presidencies of Jefferson and Madison, from 1805 to 1812. Nothing to do with Bill Clinton.

Just to add ton Mpls Mike's reply, Bill Clinton was also never Vice President, only President from 1993(92 election) to 2001 (2000 election)

@@PatrickKetza Yeah, I was high when I watched this video and wrote this comment, so I completely forgot what the category was. I know Bill Clinton's history as a politician, I just forgot that it was asking for people who were VICE Presidents. Added to that is that the question is definitely intentionally designed to trip people up exactly like this, (Bill Clinton is a much more notable figure in the public consciousness than George Clinton), so in the heat of competition, contestants on Jeopardy might go for the first Clinton they think of.
