I was thinking the same thing it's great to see Bradley getting involved and if he is anything like Derick he will be all good mechanic too bad Derick is partial to mainly working on GM I would love to see more of a variety of different vehicle brand's when I was a kid I was told that anyone can make a Chevrolet and they are just so boring because everyone does chevy build's and like Derick said LS swaps have been done so much that it's like trying to ride a dead horse in a rodeo and I ain't lying

Wait until he gets into his teens. Don't care how good a father is, sons always turn on their fathers in their teen years. They just think they know better. But maybe not in this case Derek talks to his son like he's just another man. Never talks down to him. But like I said the teen years are very challenging, both for boys and girls. I know I have three sons, and two daughters.

Absolutely the best way to save time in the shop is to NOT have to take an hours-long "break" because you had to run to emergency to get a piece of metal dug out of your eye. Props to the use of basic safety gear.

Love that you include your kids. My fond memories in my childhood was helping my Dad in his shop fixing his car. Love your work. Billy J..... Queensland, Australia.

I like the way Derek does busines! He says, I do what I do because I do it and if you disagree that's too bad. Watch, don't watch, it's up to you. Derek cares about his audience, but he isn't a slave to us. We watch because we WANT to see a guy do what we would do if we had the guts. Which we don't. Keep it up, Derek. You have my attention.

Absolute memory factory for Bradley. He'll never forget this. A brilliant Fatther Son video with superb content and very creative editing. Such a wholesome yet entertaining bunch of fellas (and fellettes) you are. Long may you continue.

I enjoy watching you do these rebuilds as much as the road trips. Just sell this one on to some fan that wants a Che-Mopar. I am sure there are a bunch of guys that would love it for years.

Derek, thanks to your inspiration (and my affinity for 300 Fords) my first attempt at a revival is tomorrow! An 85 F150 is going up for auction, and a guy plans to buy the old sweetheart (she hasnt run in 7 years) and drive her on home, the 50 miles of it. Thanks for your awesome work all these years! Edit: Got her bought, spent a half hour with her, changing on the tires and getting her running, and drove her home! She dont run so good, and she needs a clutch and some brake work, but mission successful!

After seeing so many SBC and LS swaps everywhere and in everything it's going to be satisfying to see this Hemi swapped. I love the show and seeing you get your boys involved.

Same. I am working on a super old Mercury 8CM flathead V8 and the original 3 speed non synchronized gearbox, that I am considering dropping in an early 80s Ford Ranger. SBC and LS swaps are like lifted jeeps with big ass rims and 58 light bars and the "grumper". You've seen one, you've seen them all. Let's have a but of originality. I did however work on a 50 Dodge coupe that was sitting on a 1970 impala chassis and running gear with a mildly built 350 in it. That was kinda cool.
