i really like how Vicky's voice wasnt so "layered" in this one and i could hear her genuine tone a bit clearer and i loved it :)

Hmm not sure what that might be. I approached this song in the same way as always. I don't layer "main vocals", only add harmonies/choirs as backing vocals, which there are quite a few here as well. Maybe the mix is cleaner? In any case I appreciate the compliment! :)

Now this is what we need to improve heavy metal's image in the eyes of general public. Sure I'm a little late to the party... But I must say I love the clean voice timbre. Like, a lot. I wish I wasn't so painfully picky about timbres and stuff, but it's way stronger than me. That's the reason why when hear a voice I like, I enjoy the bloody hell out of it. What a great cover! One of the best I have ever seen so far. The cover song is really hard to do, the original vibe has to be there intact with your own creativity infused and you just nailed it and the video -we had to wait more than a decade for a worthy tribute to the original. Best wishes.
