@@5Lbased 'my buddy did the same kit we found going with 1.5 inch wider tires works perfect with no cutting needed, anything wider and you have to trim the inner wheel well

Definitely the most in-depth, step-by-step video I've come across for this kind of install thus far. I still don't trust myself with doing the painting myself lol but I feel a lot more confident with installing the kit after watching your video a few times. Really appreciate you taking the time to break everything down and include the products used along the way. I did have one question regarding your tires and fenders. I've seen a lot of videos where people experienced rubbing and had to cut their fenders. Have you experienced any rubbing since first installing it? Also, what size tires are you using?

@@keithstephens7395 No rubbing at all with stock suspension also the front tire size is 20x10 with a 275/40/20 and rear is a 20x11 with tire size 315/35/20

PPG envirobase (water borne) has a few good matching variants for smoke show. Can’t remember exactly what chip but one of them is a perfect match. You should try out next time 👍

I just want to add to this thread that OEM wide body wheels fit 2012 dodge challenger stock suspension, no cutting. 20x11 -2.5 offset all the way around

@@PHARRAWAY That's good to hear, and for stock ride height, is that performance package lowered "stock" or the complete bonestock suspension? Because I'm gonna get 305s and 275s for mine, but obviously gonna cut my fenders so there isn't rubbing, but I may rock my 245s before I get the tires.

@@jjlovelace109no brother, if you only bought fender flares you can just install it with the current front and rear bumper you got. But if you got the full kit then you’ll change everything. By full kit I mean that is included with rear and front bumper

So I’m going to assume you aren’t on lowering springs or anything but not sure. I am on lowering springs and want to add a wide body kit and I’ve seen videos of people cutting their fenders have you had any issues rubbing since you didn’t cut the fenders ?

Hi no my charger is stock on suspension, but if your thinking on adding a widebody kit with lowering springs you will need to cut the fenders, I have no issues with rubbing

I do have 15mm spacers and if you don't lower your car you will not rub the wheels and tires I'm running with are 20x11 all around with 305/35/20 all around

Hey bud , do you know why my front tires are rubbing the wb flare ? In the front I have 275/35/20 with a 2in spacer . It already broke piece of the bracket that holds the flare .

@@PHARRAWAY no sir not at all . With that rear tire size 275/35/20 and the 2 In spacer , it only has one finger of clearance but rubs all the way down the road and already fucked up the bracket holding the flare . For the rear I have 275/40/20 with 2in spacer and no rubbing at all .

@@therealcurvegod8945 scat pack . But the issue was the 2in spacer , go with a 1.5 . And you do need to cut the front and back no matter what .

@@chingon5630 you’re correct. 1.5 spacer is the max. I’ve seen some go 1.25 but that’s not really necessary. Scats, Hellcats, RT have a lower suspension so cutting may be necessary. My friend didn’t cut her scat tho but still has rub SXT, GT, SE does not require cutting unless lowered

Thanks, sure it's 20x11 rear with 305 35 20 and 20x10 front with 275 40 20 and you will only need to cut fenders if you lower your ride
