My dad and I... we don't have the best relationship. It wasn't always that way, but he just doesn't seem to care now that he's got a new family and his old one has grown up and no longer abides by his restrictions or ideals. My older sibling doesn't really have too much of a bond with him, but I lived with the man 7 years more. I was mentally conditioned to obey the strict and unreasonable rules of that household by his new wife my stepmother, who was horrible to me. To this day, I feel like a cyborg, discarding old programming. But despite everything, I still love him. Still want to make him proud. Still want to be his son. This song encapsulates all that I truly feel about him. He makes me so mad, but only because I love him and want to see him again and to see that he's committed to me. That he still loves his son.

That's the one thing I can say about eggman, even though he is a pain in the butt and is horrendous at times, he knows how to show that he cares about his creations and love them - otherwise, metal wouldn't have been fully given as much emotion as we've seen him show, he wouldn't even been repaired, probably would've been replaced -

Although most of the comments are for Eggman & Sage, this song makes me think about Jason David Frank (Tommy from Power Rangers). I once met his daughter Jenna Frank at a power rangers convention. She loved all the stories fans said of her dad
