I remember this fight when it happened and I already knew this was the beginning of the end for ortiz. Had he won this fight he couldve fought canelo. He was one of my favourite fighters after his fight with berto that got fight of the year but man he let it all slip away. He just kept getting knocked by nobodies after this.

Because he's not stupid to hurt himself just as Ortiz broke his jaw. It's a sport not a street fight you either win on points or a knockout and the fans know that. Any smart boxer would like retire without a Short term mid term or long term injury, and that's just what Floyd jr did. Get it?
