Two things: 1. I know this is supposed to be a haunting and creepy song but I just find it beautiful. 2. This is the most perfect cover I’ve heard because most people can’t get the dynamics and the tempo changes right, but all of it was perfect.

i love this piece. Danny Elfman is one of my favorites and sometimes i can even recognize his work by his style. This is imo, the best part of the Corpse Bride movie. I also have the sheet music for this but no talent for playing piano. :( Such a beautiful piece of music.

+Rob j How i'm playing the bass line is not rotating my hand to play the E, but replacing my left hand, playing E with 1 and descending of course, 1, 3, and 5. So ascending arpeggio 1, 3, and 5 with C# G# C# and place 1 on E, 3 on C# and 5 on G#, all with the left hand, of course. You are only really arpeggiating throughout the whole piece. Anyway, that is how my piano teacher helped me, hope it helps you.

I am literally going thru a heartbreak where I had found my classical pianist . He was so sweet but wanted more. I will forever miss him . This song and The Heart Asks Pleasure First from the piano soundtrack I wanted him to play. He was so sweet but not in tbe right head space to play these for me . I will always love him and feel him thru classical music. Respect and God forever Bless him .

It's even more haunting and forlorn when you realize that because of the time the movie was set in, Victor would have long since died, along with everyone else in the movie.
