That block by Wemby on Giannis is his best play of the year imo. Wemby a month ago would have hit the deck after that Giannis shoulder. Really showed his competitve edge there. Ive never seen anyone meet Giannis at the apex like that before

Those highlights are definitely the ones of an all-star, he just need a tiny bit better shot selection and a better pg. Btw if somebody is able to explain why does it appear like he never made a complete pick before rolling like it almost looks like he lets the defender pass...

he has more use rolling to the basket early before the defense adjusts than staying deep for the pick. as big as he is, he's not a great screen setter. once he gets a PG on his team that can score consistently off screens, he'll be even more of a threat bc defenses wont be solely focusing on defending wemby rolling

Sometimes they play is 'slip pick', especially if the pick setter is a good shooter. He could set the pick and roll into the basket or out to 3 point area. The Warriors do that with Steph setting a 'slip pick', knowing Steph never stop moving. The gravity they draw opens up shots for them or their teammates
