I think you are underestimating the European market when considering the bowman U and inception autographs. They will hold much more value long term being his first autos and anyone who watched him play on his team over there is definitely gonna want one, and when them being incredibly hard to pull the value is just gonna be there. That’s my opinion obviously people in the states are gonna value his cards in nba uni’s alittle more but don’t sleep on those original autos!! People love bowman 1st on a card lmao

Cool video. I am definitely going to be investing in Wembanyama as his cards release. I was wondering: do you think that the value of the Universities will drop once the other brands like Prizm, Donruss, ect., hit the shelves? And are they worth putting any money into?

The only caveat to this whole video is if Fanatics signs Wemby to exclusivity for autos then the boxes of the uni product will go up and the main panini sets will instantly be less appealing by the time they release.

Bowman Inception box may not be the best long term hold because Wemby's autos are redemption.

Agreed! Plus, last year's boxes released at $200 and they're reselling for around $50. While they weren't NCAA licensed, that alone makes them a scary investment, too!

I agree that his NBA uni cards will be more valuable but I do think the 1st Bowman Chrome autos will have insane value until some high end Panini releases. I would prefer a 1st Bowman Chrome auto in his Mets 92 uni over a Hoops, Revolution, etc auto in his Spurs uni

@@Cardlines Should be interesting. I think it helps a little that Bowman now has some sort of licensing for basketball even if it’s not NBA. Still can’t wait to see his Prizm and Contenders stuff!

Question 1- I have 8 Panini Draft 23/24 unopened boxes, should I rip or hold? Question 2- I have 2 bowman Chrome Auto BGS 9.5 Yama should I cash out or hold.

I updated our article yesterday and hopefully it helps a bit more! When we made this video, he wasn't a Fanatics-exclusive signer. That changes thing. I have a Bowman U auto and I'm holding long-term. I think it will eventually be considered his BEST rookie auto since it's licensed (even Mets92) and, obviously, since Panini can't release his autos. For the boxes, most Draft products don't age well. Licensed products come out and the value dips. Flip those or rip those, I'd think. But if you rip, remember there aren't Wemby autos. Thanks!

@funkyorion82 gotcha. I don't personally chase the Topps Now cards because they're Print-on-Demand and a bit gimmicky in that they're not from a real set. Some people like them though.

Though I would like to agree with this expert, I will respectfully disagree. Yama 1st Chrome, and Inception are hard signed. What a feeling to hold a card signed and touched by Yama. I will pass on Panini and their off centered, print line, sticker autographs. Go Fanatics.
