@@loupcordeille-bougault3474 What are you talking about? He's been extremely efficient lately. Keep in mind that he has 47% FG and 33% from 3. And THAT'S mainly because his beginning was rough in efficiency. These are his splits in last eight games; 51/42/83% 63% TS. Don't EVER bring efficiency again.

@@loupcordeille-bougault3474 as of today, he's tied for 11th in player efficiency ranking - which doesn't account for defense. He's been a 40% pull up 3 point shooter the entire season (he has to get the catch and shoot up, but that is usually a sign of poor passing). I wouldn't have him as high as 3, but he's certainly closer to top 10 than top 20.

Look at Wemby's blocks! He's had more than several franchises over the month, but also he controls where he blocks the ball! Many times, he kept it after blocking it, other times he literally passed it towards a teammate while blocking. I would like to see a stats of % of blocks successfully controlled by your team. I'm pretty sure Victor is topping this statistics also. Allez Victor, continue à leur montrer !

What's amazing with Wembenyama is that he could just stick to leverage his physical tools(length, athleticism, mobility) to be just a scoring/rebounding machine by always sticking around the paint but instead he is relying on his IQ and skills to cover every facet of the game,, basically he is switching between 1 to 5 positions during a single game: playmaking, screens, rebounding,blocking, defending the perimeter when needed, 3-pt shooting, the full package. What really stands out now after months of playing NBA basketball is that he does it without dominating the ball movement and always in the flow of the game,; he tries to be always in the rigjt place, at the right time. When his physical maturity settles in, I have no idea how opponents gonna stop him, he has so many tools at his disposal, he is not just physically gifted but also highly skilled... People often complain, je is not getting enough minutes but after the Kawhi Leonard's injuries fiasco by the Spurs, they are more cautious and they are right, there are no medical experience to deal with this type of specimen, that tall, mobile and coordinated. Congrats Spurs, you got yourself another legendary player...

I know most of us are glazing over his skills, and rightfully so, but he's really a once-in-a-lifetime kind of prospect, because it's not just the height, which is already rare, it's not just the fluidity at that height, which we've never seen, it's not just the skills that come with the fluidity and the height, which is unique to him, it's also the absolute drive to want to be the best, the maturity, the quick-processing of the information the NBA's been throwing at him. He's like on a year 2 leap midway through his rookie season. The only way this kid isn't a top 5 player of all time is health at this point, I don't think anything else stops him, and I don't know too many rookies in my 25 years of watching the NBA you can say that about.

@donnellroane6823 5 ай бұрын
Exactly, he's like the player you made back in the day before 2k realized that a 7'5" PG who could dribble and shoot wasnt possible! They stopped letting you create those type of players and if you wanted your player to be 7'5" he had to be a C, and he wouldn't be able to dribble or shoot. Only rebound and dunk! Now years after they made the switch here comes this kid, who is a REAL LIFE VERSION OF WHAT WE WANTED OUR 2K PLAYERS TO BE!! It'll be scary of he gains like 15-20 lbs in muscle! He's already getting use to the pace of the NBA, and by year 3 he'll most likely be in the top position for League MVP! And he'll be a DPOY candidate every year he chooses to! He's a generational talent, I knew he was gonna be good, but I didn't think he would have an immediate impact on the league like he is. Get rid of VASSEL and SCHOHAN, get 2 good veteran players like a Schroeder or a Cam Payne, or an old CP3 next year they will be top 4 in the West, MARK MY WORDS!!

I have a technical question? If Wemby dunks from the 3pts line, does-it count as a 3pts or as a normal 2 pts dunk?

If he takes off before the 3pt line, and he lets the ball go before his feet touch the floor again it's a 3 pt shot, no matter where he lands at after the ball is released!

Just unreal what he can do . If he can stay injury free, and keep putting in some muscle (he’s getting there ), he will be the GOAT. Fact is that he’s the only guy in the league who , when he is playing , resembles grown ups playing against little kids .
