I'm not sure how many times she was interviewed by Parkinson. I've got two - this one which was just her and another one where she was the first guest (10 mins). Again, I'm not sure when she sang Pam but she sang The ballad of Freda and Barry and the Dinnerladies theme on this one (I think). Hope this helps. She is absolutely wonderful - what a shame she retired.

@transmissionends64 Despite newspaper reports that she wanted to concentrate her energies behind the camera, we can safely say she hasn't retired. Her last television stand-ups were in September 2007 (on ITV) and December 2010 (on Sky1 ). She also appeared in a tele-drama about Morecambe and Wise on New Year's Day 2011, and she is - apparently - returning to TV comedy at some point within a couple of years (source: magazine interview from last year)

I remember Vic singing Pam on a Parkinson interview. Do you know how many times she was interviewed by him. Was it this interview?

Do you know,sometimes I just feel so very selfish when I wish for her to do more on tv.Watching her on The Paul O'Grady Show last friday was just a delight,& a rare treat.He must've threatened to reveal some dark secret of hers to get her to appear,lol. But,she certainly has earned her time away from the cameras,& the touring & the xmas specials,if that's what she wants to do.After all she's been entertaining us for 30-odd years.But I'd be ever so grateful if she'd do just 1 more tour,lol.

@kitnkabootle She hasn't done any stand up for 10 years or so. She has done a few christmas specials though.

@utubefanno1 She did sing Barry and Freda in this interview. I taped it all those years ago and half way thru the song the tape finished. I nearly cried!! I have uploaded another version of Barry and Freda but the best version is from a dvd called "An audience with Victoria Wood". It's on youtube, uploaded by kevmull. I don't remember her singing Pam on this show but I've also uploaded another version of it.
