Will the Patriot Camper make it on Davies Plain track?
Join us while we tour from the Victorian High Country to the Snowy River National Park in a three part series.
PART 1.
We start at Tom Groggin on the Murray River and camp at Buckwong camp ground. We then explore our way through Limestone Creek track and find a great camp spot right off the track.
We do some bush mechanic's, hit some gnarly tracks and enjoy the warm weather while it lasts.

Thanks. Recently purchased a forward fold and searched "towing a trailer to Davies". I ran cattle from tom groggin to the high country in the mid 80's and always promised myself id go back.

@@overlandgypsies you guys done really well with the camper trailer on , I’m impressed. Do you know the weight of the patriot ?

It's around 940kg without water and all our gear. We've never checked the weight with it fully packed. I'm guessing it wouldn't be anymore then 1.3 tonne . It was our 1st real offroad touring trip with it and was impressed with it also.

@@overlandgypsies that’s awesome, its on the lighter end of the scale like our ultimate. Definitely an advantage when 4wding . I’m keen for pt2 🤠👍👍

Yes it is on the light side. The light weight definitely comes in handy with some of them VHC hill climbs.
