I just go to thrift stores, antique stores, been collecting Victorian items for a long time, it does take a long time to collect things.

Loved so many things about this video. I think one of my favorites is the use of flowers, on the wallpaper, pressed, and fresh cut in vases. So nice to see something other than " farmhouse" decor on youtube.

i still have that first book, Victorian crafts by Carolyn Green! I have had that book for many, many years. It is better than anything you find on the internet..I am still a Victorian lady at heart here in the year 2022..

My home was built in 1883 and one of the first homes in this area. its not victorian but I would love to decorate it that way. My walls are plaster and horsehair

This is going to sound so corny but I’ve been in the biggest funk lately and nothing was snapping me out of it. Then I saw this video and seeing all your pretty things instantly lifted my spirits. That bedding is absolutely stunning and it looks sooo beautiful with the wallpaper. English decor is my favorite because all the mixed floral patterns. Your wallpaper is one of my all time favorite florals. I feel like redecorating now! This really inspired me. Thank you!

Your house is beautiful I think the quilt set your mother gave you matches so good with the wallpaper cuz some of the pieces of fabric match back to that wallpaper it was meant for you that quit was meant for you it was meant just for you it's beautiful

I absolutely love this❤❤❤. So beautiful and elegant. I have my bedroom decorated with care bears and minnie mouse 😂😂😂. I can't wait to switch over to an elegant and feminine room, its going to be part of my growing (I'm 36 😂).

I just love that quilt Jen so pretty...I love quits I have two that I have had for years and they are still in very good condition.. I love looking at Old Homes so interesting...We have alot here St Augustine...It's one of my favorite things to do is to just look at the homes..

This was such a fun and enjoyable video!!!! I love everything about your bedroom, I cherish the antique furniture I have, I'll never part with them. I love your quilt, quilts are always my favorite, and the colors in yours are beautiful. I think it goes fine with the wallpaper, I love how you have just the one wall in that lovely paper, and that it's a replica of an older Victorian print. I'm currently on the hunt for curtains just like yours, white lace, that's what I want in my Victorian sun room/tea room. I have a lot of the lace accent pieces my mother gave me, and use them in my home, also two beautiful lace pillow covers for my bed. I love finding older treasures for my home, I just missed a pair of lamps on FB Marketplace, I was too late! They were lovely. Yours are beautiful, I'd love to find one with stained glass. And yes, I totally agree that every Victorian home needs a black cat, lol!!! I have 3 of them, mine are Siamese but I'm currently on the hunt for a black kitten (if I can talk hubby into a 4th cat, lol). I love the piano music you played for this video, very Victorian and so relaxing!

I truly loved this video . Your room is so nice . The lamp next to your bed my mother had one it was white on top and bottom . We also have all of my grandmother’s oil lamps . This is just so inspiring thanks for sharing

Love the bedroom tour. I laughed when you showed your tea rose perfume. I have that too it sits on a dish on my dresser with some of my frequent worn jewelry. I use to have a beautiful shawl draped over my mirror, it had embroidered roses on it. I have silouette pictures of my children on the wall. I also have picked up crystal vases at Goodwill to put in my room and master bathroom. I use open crystal bowls in my bathroom to HD hair ties, flossers, etc.

I loved this. I don’t know much about the Victorian era. Seeing the bedspread in this video makes sense to me now, everything looks so nice! You’ve done a great job collecting and adding them to your home. If I were to choose one thing from that time period, it would be the furniture. I honestly wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I did, but it is one of my favorite videos you’ve ever done and I would love to see more!! I love the Victorian history because of my love for Cape May, so i found everything so interesting. I want to make pressed flower frames now, I never thought to do that, and also seashell art. I love every piece of art on your walls, but especially the skating scene. I wish I could find art like that at antique stores, I always seem to see tacky art lol. Your wallpaper and quilt are to die for. My interior style is cottage, but I can never get enough florals. Princess is the perfect fit!

Very lovely room. Seeing your rings, I presume you are married. I wonder, does your home have his/her rooms, as sometimes was the case back in the day? I always refer to our bedroom as "our bedroom" and you continually state that this is YOUR master bedroom, hence the question. I once toured a lovely mansion and it had his/hers bedrooms and in between, a large bathroom and on the mother's side, a small nursery. On the father's side, a small study (aside from the large library downstairs.)

Just curious...there are 3 items you showed which I also saw in another Victorian home video by another woman who said they were part of her house . The first was the stucco plaster that said 1895.The second was the picture of the woman in the red dress with the lace headdress The third is the beautiful Mantle Clock.She said the same thing about her home ,that they had all been there Just wondered why.

Jen you’ve done it very well but it’s not my taste at all.. Love the electric oil lamps,sea shell decorations and fans. I have vintage fans my husbands great aunt left to us...and a vey old bureau.....
