New overnight adventure to the snow woods by the river. Relaxing winter camping video for great mood and Christmas emotion 🎄❄️
Sounds of Snow, woods and stream; hot natural tea, campfire, outdoor cooking, flickering lamps and warm atmosphere here…
🍹Today I prepare hot Grog drink with rum, which can be brew several times (3-5) without losing flavor. Citrus notes with little alcohol are always perfectly warm in cold winter days.
🍖For dinner I decided to cook easy mixed food on skewers over a fire.
🏕️In this winter camping I used comfortable tent with awning which set up above the camp-cot (Naturehike brand). Also I took a warm sleeping bag, inflatable mat, natural sheep skin & half wool blanked for cozy hot night. I brought all the equipment on a camping cart and it was little hard, because it started to snow and I got on the bumpy trail (from frozen hoof marks of horses or deer).
Amazing relaxing snowfall weather for camping, but the heavy snow was surprise for me today, that’s why I didn’t take a hot tent and forgot chimney. The temperature was +1 °C (33 ºF), and in the morning the temperature dropped -5 °C (23 ºF).
I’m freezing in the evening but the night in the tent was warm and comfortable. Anyway, that’s was a new experience for me! Amazing snow and sounds of nature make my winter camping as always awesome 😊

There's so much wrong with what you said - "She is in the wilderness where a human being can't go and follow her" - she made it out there so can anyone. "She always goes off route so no one can follow her" - with that hand cart she didn't go very far. I've had the same one and they don't handle this kind of use for long. Likely her campsite was within several kilometers of a town at least. "Even men would be scared to go out" - Seriously? You're playing THAT card?! I, personally, often go adventure cycling (or bikepacking if you prefer) for 2-3 weeks with less gear and gadgets than she was hauling. In fact, a third of the weight she was hauling is what I carry in water. You have to in Australia. Not to mention we have snakes, spiders, crocs, Cassowaries - any of which can kill you. Am I scared? No. Caurious and aware? Yes. "She is an expert and knows how to handle the wilderness" - Stop, just stop. An "expert" would be wearing more appropriate clothing, leggings and gym gear are not that. The coat for instance is clearly soaking up moisture from the snow. Get stuck out for longer than planned and that is a recipe for hypothermia. Also no hiker in their right mind would go out in the wilderness in the 'oh-so-not-hiking-boots' she was wearing. What were they anyway - 'Gucci Hikers'? And who the hell runs 3 lanterns in broad daylight?! Look, I have zero issues with women doing this kind of content (except the 'thirst-trap stuff'), afterall one of my favourite camping YTers is WildBeare. What I do take issue with is people like you making unfounded, sexist and downright dangerous claims just to fluff up someon's image. Do better.

You know... One of the things I've realized watching her videos. What draws me in is that this isn't just about bushcraft. She makes everything an art form. From her recording style, to the food she makes, and the touches of a comfy home like adding the lights to the tree. It's true art in all its simplicity. I love your videos Victoria. I agree. I watch quite a few different camping type channels. This one is my favorite for all of the reasons you just outlined. Additionally, through her camping and building, Victoria brings a new perspective on what women can do outdoors. Finally, I like the fact that she dresses well and is not trying to attract men with scant clothing. She is refreshing to watch.

Beautiful landscape, that forest looks incredible with snow, it offers a view like a fairy tale, I am from a tropical country, of course snow doesn't exists here jaja, but I imagine that although it looks beautiful it turns into a harsh climate, and cold as hell. Such a wonderful video, dear Victoria! The cosy atmosphere in your camp in the snowy winter idyll of nature is absolutely enchanting! I also love the idea of putting fairy lights on one of the fir trees 🎄, which, in addition to your already cosy camp and the delicious-looking and certainly very tasty meal, really creates a festive atmosphere and a little romance. I've watched soo many camping videos but for the first time watched a women camp, all men care about is a shelter over head and a flat surface to sleep but this was a whole new level of coziness. An Urdu saying came to my mind while watching the video ( wajud-e-zan se ha tasveer-e-kainat ma rang), a loose translation would be "The picture of the universe gets it's colors from the existence of women".

I teach survival. And I have a cot tent in my gear. They aren't meant for winter camping though. My ex took the double sized one. They have their place. Both cot tent and the ex 😂

But with that said I would be stupid enough to do this with her because their is something about a woman that does this kind of stuff that is incredibly great. Beats a wife or girlfriend complaining and staying at home. I think we all need to get out and enjoy life and the outdoors in any type of weather.
