As you can all see, the Mississippi State defense was deliberately going after Tua's knees, especially Dantzler when he head-butted Tua at 11:52. Think of the block in the back penalty as tit-for-tat for dirty tackling

0:22 MSSt’s DL didn’t even try to pressure the QB. They just stood up pushing forward with the Bama OL doing the same. Only 1 DL put up a hand when the ball was thrown.

Najee's talents are being wasted at RB. His HS "run tall, straight, & hard" style just doesn't cut it this level. He'd be much more dangerous as an Outside LB or Safety/FS.

Sorry folks, those of you that think Alabama is looking “beatable” against decent competition is wrong. 1) Tua is playing with a hurt knee and has been wearing a knee brace for the past 4 weeks now. 2) Throughout the game there were obvious pass interferences that the refs should’ve called. 3) Miss State blitzed almost every play (bad because Tua can’t run the way he wants to because of the knee brace) 4) Miss State players were taking shots at Tua’s legs. 5) Miss State has a Top 5 defense in the nation and has a lot of Seniors on their team. 6) Miss State is literally stacking the box and playing lots of players back. Yet the game was 24-0....

@Noah Layman dude Alabama shut out a two top 25 teams in a row lmao. "Every team has injuries" yeah not 1&2 QB's banged up #2 RB hurt, #1 WR banged up and top tier linemen injured. I just @'d you come at me.

Sound like a bunch of excuses to me! 😂 The game was 24-0 because Mississippi States Offense is ass!!! Plus the horrible officiating that cost MSU one maybe even two scores. But Mississippi States defense just proved that Alabama’s not unbeatable and their offense can be stopped! Alabama has yet to play a team that is good on both sides of the ball! I think these Stuck up Bama fans are in for a rude awakening once they finally play a quality opponent like a Clemson or a Notre Dame!

MrPiperCat Clemson or Notre Dame? Hahahahahaha!!! Tua played on a hurt knee and missed out on the whole 4th quarter. Score could’ve been 31-0 but Bama didn’t score on the touchdown at the end of the game.

You can blame it on Tua being hurt but injuries happen that’s just a part of the game! Mississippi State shut Alabama down in the second half by disguising blitzes and it confused Alabama And I honestly don’t see his Knee getting better anytime soon. I don’t wanna hear no excuses if he gets hurt against a good team and Bama ends up losing. Like I said injuries happen, next man up! Alabama is supposed to have all these 5 stars so they should be able to win without him!! 💯💯

If you mean shutout , by terrible ref calls in the Miss St game ok 👍🏽. And yes it is something to point out being the fact that bama has been praised for being the best offensive team we’ve witnessed ( scoring 70 points a game) to being held under 30 points against 2 top 10 defenses ... if LSU and MIss st didn’t have stagnant offenses the games would of definitely been closer...news flash Clemson and Michigan are ranked higher than both of those teams on both sides of the ball . Delpit for lsu is dirty but I haven't seen a dirtier team defense in college football until this game. miss st will pay for all those dirty shots at Tua's knee

A 16th ranked team and all Bama could get was 24 points, hurt Tua or not, Not impressive. Should have racked up like 77 points maybe, Oh that's right , Clemson did that.

@@allblack8148 Our DEFENSE is much better...I'm just writing our chances against ALA. Miss St. Defense played great in the second half, but the offense had a ton of mistakes and missed opportunities.
