Dude, I was 3 years out of college, listening to this game on the radio during harvest. The cb's were chirping all night. We managed to make it home in time to see the replay of the catch and the time run out. Old is for the birds.

2008 big 12 south football was so great. Red river Rivalry was good that year too.

I remember that day very well. My dad worked at the Lubbock newspaper and got two tickets. My mom was a UT grad so she wore her burnt orange to that game. My grandma (big UT Fan) came up from Austin to babysit me and my sibling. The whole city of Lubbock lost their minds when Crabtree made that play! Great time to be a Red Raider!

@@RadicallyOptimistic The fact that USC lost vs OSU is mental in itself, OSU hasn't been good at anything since 2012 except in baseball, and even there they'd get beaten by every one else in the PAC 12

TTU '04 grad here. I was sitting in Bash Riprocks watching that game. When Crabtreee made that play, the place exploded!! Best time ever that night!!

I was in a Cessna 172 flying overhead of the stadium in the 4th quarter. I have several photographs from the game from the air, my favorite being the crowd on the field after the game.

The only good that came from Leach’s dismissal from Texas Tech is that Craig James wasn’t with ESPN anymore. He had an unsuccessful bid in politics, and we’ve never heard from him again. Mike Leach will always have a place in the hearts of the Red Raiders everywhere. Our condolences to his dear family, and please know that Coach Leach started a legacy at Texas Tech that will live forever. Wreck ‘em!

If anything that you get out of this game at the end, it was terrible clock management by Texas. They snapped the ball with so much time on the play clock.

Graham Harrell deserved to be a 3rd round pick at the very least! He got done dirty! With proper guidance he could have been a decent starter in the NFL. The NFL is weird when it comes to the standard of players they deem fit to be drafted. You would let a guy who threw nearly a 100 touchdowns in College go undrafted? Something doesn't feel right about that!
