USC fan here, I have to say that was one hell of a ball game. Arizona played to win, and UCLA never, ever gave up.

I think that was a crazy attempt at the bruins' own 36-yard with 5:53 remaining in the 4th quarter 4th down & 6. UCLA were trailing by just three points, enough time, and a long 6-yard, there's no need to gamble. when the game's over, the video showed DTR's frustration. okay? Chip.

Multi-step + multi-year process, it's good and I'm sure validating for the young team not to lose out to close the year. Last year we invested heavily in skill positions, hopefully this offseason we'll be able to get some talent infusion on both lines. In most cases this year we're getting manhandled, was surprised we were even able to get a run game going today; usually that's where we fail masterfully. Pressure from the D-line is still almost non-existent, as talented as our CBs are, if you give a QB and WR enough time to scramble on a field, someone's bound to get open.

As a USC fan, I would've loved to beat UCLA as a one-loss team next week. Also, as a USC fan, I love to see the Ruins lose.

I am sure it goes without saying that this is a night-and-day different Arizona team from last year. It's not that the boys didn't play hard; this year they are playing with much more skill.

UCLA had a chance to win it late but I do not know why they did not continue to use the middle of the field making sure the plays were beyond the sticks! When they got to Arizona's 28 yard line, they just started going for the end zone when there was STILL just enough time to get closer before taking their shots. When things got very tense, it looks like DTR folded. He threw terrible balls to the endzone killing the last seconds they had and then Arizona tried to gift them the game at the very end by having a near complete breakdown in coverage in the endzone, DTR has nearly a wide open TD and just missed his man.

The annual Chip Kelly will always let you down! Every year. He may bring a fake sense of hope but Chip always brings the disappointment. Should be worth a 10 million dollar contract as we settle in to a 4 and 7 record from this year forward if were lucky.
