In the original, the Yoshi Coins give you 1 life if you find all 5 in any given level. In Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World, if you find them all, Peach somehow destroys the Yoshi Coin economy by printing her face on them, which I'm pretty means that Princess Toadstool may have annexed Dinosaur Land

Oh my God. Mario is a foreign mercenary hired to steal the artifacts/idols of a non-human, sapient species. Mario also gets to look like the good guy because he can conceal his acts under the guise of fighting alongside the Yoshis against the Koopa army (who may view Dinosaur Land as a vassal state of the Koopa Kingdom). After all the artifacts are stolen (which rewards Mario each time a set are stolen), the adventure ends. Princess Toadstool releases Mario of his contract and refunds the Denizens of Dinosaur Land with artifacts made to replicate the old ones, but with the likeness of the Princess instead of proper recreations. Mario then gets to steal the Mushroom Kingdom artifacts. He sells them at a black market auction. The buyer? A holding company belonging to the Crown of the Mushroom Kingdom. But hey, that's just a hypothesis. A gaaaame hypothesis

It is a little confusing that fire flowers are even included in this game considering 90% of enemies are totally immune to them. Sometimes handy in a water level, but otherwise why even pretend it’s a power up at all? Fireballs evaporate harmlessly against everything in this game.

So the key to Super Mario World and especially the Forest of Illusion is if the level is RED on the MAP, it means there's multiple exits / paths opened in that level. This is salient because all of the levels in the Forest of Illusion are like this on purpose. I still wonder if they'll manage to even accidentally find the Blue Switch Palazzo

The second path in FOI 1 takes you to Ghost House, FOI2 takes you to the Blue Switch Palace, Ghost House takes you to 4 and 4 goes to the Forest Fortress

You should include Clint as well! ... And then give him controls that don't actually do anything but are hard to verify, like you would with a little brother. "Dad, you're controlling Speed, okay?" He can only test his control of speed when Justin is actually moving, and with Griffin asking for speed verbally like he usually does, Travis will most likely be hitting the speed button when Clint is trying to anyway :'D Sorry, just had to share my silly idea!
