I made a set of Victory Xtorsion arrows like 3 years ago. U would be in the mid 600's in weight to get that FOC @ the minimum of 15% FOC. That means u would need to put a 150 grain b.h. up front to screw into the 125 grain Ethics insert on that 29" arrow build. This arrow passed the twig test better than all others. The twig test setup is putting a 3D deer target where a twig is located in the vital V halfway between myself & the target. Hitting the twig that falls to the ground & hitting the target tight on the shoulder is a cool thing to see.

I decided to use these this year on my first otc Colorado elk hunt. 30 inch shaft cut with factory vanes believe they are fusion , 95 gr stainless outsert and 100 grain tip was a whopping 560 grains. Heavy! Shooting them at 273 fps . Will see what happens.

Been waiting for this vid! I built mine with the 60 grain aluminum insert and steel collar from Ethics…i put mine thru 2 diff fences and poles.(didnt adjust sight) and they did not bend and both arrows were still like new. I think mine came in 480 grains total 100 gr heads, and 4 fletch. 28.75” cut to cut

Somebody needs to do a comparison of all the composite / jacketed arrows (fmj, cap, kinetic kaos, max red, etc)

Just bought a dozen of these at work yesterday to try out and then the man, the myth, the mfjj makes a video a day later on them. It’s gonna be a good week.

I shoot on a rugby pitch so it isn’t an options to lose an arrow in the dirt. We have a metal detector and these would be so much easier to find. Perfect really 👍

Victory makes a 92 grain Stainless Steel VAP Outsert in .166 I run them on both my VAP SS 350 Spine as well as my VAP TKO 300 Spine shafts. I have right at 15.2 %foc with a 100 grain field point. VAP SS 350 overall weight of 471 grains. My VAP TKO 300 comes out to 492 grains with a 100 grain point with almost the same foc

Tough arrows. Longest lasting dozen I’ve ever had. Took a shot at a rattle snake and hit a rock blew up the rock and busted the collar and broad head. The arrow is good still.🤣

I like the victory rip tko arrows but I noticed that they weren’t that durable I bought a dozen two years ago n did just target shoots at local ranges n at the end of the year just shooting them I broke 7 out of the 12 n lost the 60grain ss outserts I got with them n I even used a good epoxy to put them in $150ish dollars I feel was wasted so I won’t buy them anymore

Question on arrow length with these- hunting arrow, 95 grain collar and iron will solid. How far in front of rest do you recommend they be cut? (Shooting Mathews VXR no clearance issues w riser)

Most of the new super micro arrows are 9+gpi. I just made some easton axis long range with a 150 head (50gr insert) @ 500gr with 14% foc. It's tough to build these 4mm's at less than 500gr. I may go no wrap and three (vs four) vane and a 125 head to get one to 450-470-ish with a bit better foc. Does it really matter? I think a 450gr with 12% foc is enough from modern compounds to kill most things on earth.

What are the best whitetail arrows that can be built? At least your opinion. I’ve been using Vap with Grim reapers for a few years now and that are great arrows. I’m never against upgrading. If price is no budget, what would you build

LIke MF and the videos. Obvious he is passionate and an expert in "our hobby!" Bought a dozen Victory VAP SS from Podium. Wish I had purchased elsewhere. Put fletched arrows in the cart only to find out - two weeks later - the shop was actually fletching these arrows. I chose to accept this based on MF's level of expertise. Mistake. The person who fletched put the maximum helical on the vanes - not my request. Three weeks post order - like ordering from the SEARS catalog - the arrows arrived. Half had vanes that had released from the glue, two were missing two or more vanes completely. Arrows are great - I'll buy more - elsewhere. I will watch, like and continue to value the content but avoid purchasing in the future.

I find the Black Eagle stock outsert is quite reliable when internally footed with a long HIT insert like the Snyder Core inserts.

That Easton titanium insert. Does it for sure fit into the victory arrows? I no I have heard some people claim that you may get fitting issues. Also the victory 75 grain stainless and aluminum inserts what part of that insert is aluminum?
