Eric Olson's '83 Ford Ranger once a nitrous fed wild wheelstanding pickup, now sporting twin 72mm T72 turbos in the bed, powered by SBF 427CI Windsor with solid tappet cam, with Trick Flow Heads, C+S blow thru carb, 9" ford rearend with leaf spring suspension. With runs of 9.10, 8.91, and 8.70@163.85 Eric gave all the Rockford Pro Street Division races all they could handle that day! 9-28-14

I sold my 10 sec budget sbf ranger 4 years ago and have missed it ever since..I remember on time I had this troll Corey something who laughed when I said I’d race his monster 17 second civic with a “ported head” (😂)..(I am NOT down playing civics or any honda as I love them..just this moron’s)..needless to say when he saw footage I never heard from him again 🤷🏽‍♂️..thank you for keeping the mini trucks alive

@@paingang1000 ya man love the set up everything I can see about the truck is nice. Looks like you spent a ton of hours on that, and it sure paid off. I'm doing a similar build but only going to a 418. Any advice on the build or rear end to stick with.

I've had a 9" forever, and it's narrowed to fit a 315 drag radial or 29.5x10.5 slick. Leaf springs and Assassin bars from SRD provide the launch. Just a couple weeks ago, it won the True Street class at Joliet NMRA/NMCA. Best pass was 8.36 @166, on the 3rd pass. 8.54 average.

For the small block 351 out of the 3/351s FORD had yall woke dat weaker&cheaper widsor up,please dont take dat wrong,cause dat is one POWERFUL BADAZZ 351W setup&FORD FLANGER&i got a 96 Flanger but mine is weak as it was 22yrs ago when I bought it brand new,I wish i could put a v8in it.but cant im kinda sick now it kinda bad they cutout mt guts a lot it spread tomm my liver,kidne.
