After that, Monica's mom recovered thanks to her kidney and their relationship is growing stronger. She even had her mom move in and introduced her to her grandchildren. Missy on the other hand was caught driving while under the Influence and in the middle of her intoxication, she struck a little kid and her mom. The mother survived but was paralyzed, the little girl did not survive. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison with no chance of Parole. Before her sentence she called her mother to come and Bail her out, but she refused, seeing prison as a chance for missy to change her ways, but she did not and was forced to serve more time after assaulting another prisoner. (This is what I feel would happen afterwards)
