Kelvin is a senior sales executive who crosses path with his condominium’s security guard, Shanti, after getting stopped for smoking in a non-smoking area. One afternoon, Kelvin ﬁnds out that Shanti has been admitted into the hospital. After visiting her, he ﬁnds out about her four children and that her husband has passed away two years ago. She appeals to Kelvin, and he promises her that her four children will not go hungry.

Same in many Indian Languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, etc.) The word got its origin from Sanskrit so it makes sense.😁

for those who kept asking about La.. she is speaking Singlish and this is the language the bonds all Native-born Singaporeans together regardless of race, language or religion. it is unique enough that anywhere in the world when a Singaporean speaks, fellow Singaporeans will know immediately we are among family.

This is based on an actual real story of the actual person that happened in the late 90's which explained the nokia phone. There was also not much lift upgrading projects at that time which explained why Kelvin had to carry the mini fridge up the staircase.

How was she fake? Her first act of kindness was caring for Kelvin and not wanting him to ruin his health by smoking. I think her warmth was what drew him to her in the first place. Your comment shows you don't connect well with love.
