Amazing. I lived in STL my entire life and rarely see cardinals. All of a sudden, i have spotted a male and female cardinals that visit me daily. This has been going on for 2 weeks. I also started seeing cardinal logos and signs every where now. Its amazing. I knew it was something going on. Thanks for sharing.

Takes courage to share things like this. 👍 I've heard that cardinals are a sign of change coming. Like a divine warning but yet comforting because the Lord is in control amidst the toughest of circumstances. I saw a cardinal just the other day, still motionless peaceful and watching. Like a guardian on my path. To me they are a sign of change coming - death of something and birth of something else = change. Butterflies: the Lord is with me and is remembering me. White birds soaring along my path: Holy Spirit moving and intervening. To me all these signs are a part of the Lord's work to help us know there is more to our existence than just this day to day world. He helps us to think on eternal things. Hope when we need it most.

This story definitely gave me comfort, thank you. On year two with my dad. Saw a cardinal on the hardest day in the first week it happened. Right in the middle of the city, on a specific tree my dad always talked about, right outside his window. It was my last memory of his apartment before handing the keys over.

I appreciate your story because I have very similar occurrences just recently with cardinals. I am in New York. Just wanted to add that "cheeseburger" birds are also found in Northern California and they are chickadees. Thanks for sharing your stories.

Cheeseburger is a chickadee. I have them in GA. I also have lots of cardinals!. May of 2002 it was snowing lot outside. On my front porch I had at least 20 yellow finches , and about 20 red cardinals sitting on the fence . Looking in the big windows of our log cabin!! The next morning my sister called to tell me dad had died. I have never seen that many again!

Hi, yesterday was May 9, 2018, and my husband, I was out shopping, and having lunch on his day off. Well he asked me if, I wanted to go in Sally's to look around I didn't, but I say 'yeah' why not so, I looked around in Sally's for a while, and was walking to the front of the tore when, I saw this lady having a conversation with the cahier, I noticed her because of her accent, and her hair she was wearing hair beads. So, when the lady left, shortly after I left. Then my husband ask me me, and out went some other places, and he asked do you want to go by TJ MAXX? Yeah, I said it's what we do often on his day off so why not so i'm in the store walking around, and I hear the same voice from Sally's it's the beaded hair lady so we get to talking, and it was one of the most profound, highly spiritual conversations I have EVER had!!!!!! Mary,is her her name her mom had died the month before, my brother in law died in Feb. Then we talked about the red birds, and the signs of the Cardinal there were tears we hugged it was really something right there in Tj Maxx!!!!!!!!!! I told her I was going through something, I JUST NEEDED a sign that it was all going to be o.k she said it will be o.k. Later when my husband, and I made it home, I was telling my two daughters the story of what happened with Mary, and I saw a flash of red fly by the window. Immediately, I jumped up to see what it was although in my mind I thought NO WAY!!!!! There on the ground right there in my yard was a cardinal!!!!!!!! WOW, I thought, it looked up at me peering out the window at it, and I called my girls to come, and llook, and when they did, and we were oohing, and ahhing ANOTHER cardinal flew in the yard right next to that one, and they BOTH were looking in at us then they flew away.Sorry for such a long story, I just wanted you to know that YES, I believe in these Cardinal signs very much especially after yesterday!!!!!!!! I happened Upon this video while looking up the meaning of seeing a red cardinal. As I just looked out the window and a red cardinal is sitting in my garden. So as I am watching this video at one point you say the date is October 26 ...My jaw dropped. That is my husband's birthday and he passed away 3 years ago. Hi Maureen, so crazy you mentioned the smells!! My first christmas home I could smell her! Mom never really wore perfume but I could smell "her scent" the first night at my Dad's that xmas. It was night time and i was going to bed & it was like a breath of air went past me that smelled like Mom. I quickly took another breath to smell it again but the scent was gone. same thing happened to my sister about a week before this. So crazy. Hasn't happened since... :-( Thanks for sharing that!!

I have recently had 2 cardinals buzz across the street in front of my car when on way to take my cat to be cremated, these were not your normal cardinals as far as the way they flew and their speed... lightening fast . Although they were fast they made sure to fly a special way which caught my attention without a doubt, can't really explain it , you'd have had to be there to know. So I'm not sure what day but I know my cat was still here ( her body) and so it wasn't more than a day or 2 before I took her on the day I saw these cardinals... havnt seen cardinals in many years! This cat died in a way in which I blame myself for 100% and feel that I will never be ok because of it! Well my grandmother was a very special one and I think about her constantly! Always bring her up in conversations etc. I have been blessed with her presence many times since her passing in 2002 so 8 have many stories I could tell you about in which she has shown me in a different way each time that she was there. Each time it was during a time in which I know my grandmother would understand how I felt and she'd comfort me in her special way and she'd pray for me and things would always get better.... every time she has visited me it had to do with one of my pets .... wether being born or passing .... this is how I know it's her and why it's always different in ho w she visits. This time it was in the form of a butterfly! Suddenly while I was outside very near my precious girl Ember who was in a box waiting to be taken to the crematory this yellow with black stripes butterfly appeared out of nowhere and was flying irritably and would almost gonaround the front of house but then at last second came fluttering back with fast zig zag movement so I started to video tape her and I asked her if she was here for Ember and she flew over towards her but not exactly rite by her but near enuf that I could feel her and know that she is now taking care of my beautiful angel along with the babies she had in her belly and I know this because of the special times we shared together while I was growing up and she always had German Shepherd n malamute mix puppies and sometime kittens n baby chicks and baby horses and that same type of butterfly I knew from being a kid with my Nanna that her FAVORITE BUTTERFLY WAS THAT EXACT ONE! I was on the phone talking to a friend who is sorta like a grandmother to me who I've only known a couple of years but as soon as I said oh my gosh, there's a butterfly here ! It's the same one my grandmother loved the most. She said Debi it is your grandmother! My Ember died on April 8 2018. I remember you mentioning April 8 th. My grandmothers birthday was March 23 rd . Yours I believe is May 23rd. My grandmother was more of a mother to me than my true mother and so I miss her more than ever. I know now that my Ember who died way to young and for a reason I am not sure of except for I let her outside and it was very late , not think8ng at the time of the dangers in our woods and also never expected her to go deep into those woods while I was outside as well. I called her n my others in and everyone was close by as usual and they all came in except for Ember...this wasn't supposed to happen and it is affecting me very badly and now that my Nanna has Ember it can be ok until we meet again! The same butterfly showed up again a few days later which again I didn't pay attention to the date but I walked out the back door and saw my German Shepherd dog jumping up at this butterfly to eat it and I immidiately screamed " NO TORQUE" that's Nanna,! He immidiately stopped! He never does that and she disappeared just like that! Havnt seen her since! It's too early for butterfly's in mid April isn't it? . So as I sat here watching you cardinal story a text popped up and it said " Ember is ready" ...💕

I WAS INTHE HOSPITAL. JAN 1 2018, I HAD THE FLU. REAL BAD, ALMOST DIE. I BROKE MY ARM AND WAS SITTING ON THE Y BEDROOM FLOOR I ONLY HAD 20% OXYGEN ANYWAY I AM WAYS ALONE NO ONE COMES TO SEE ME AND I HAVE A SPINAL INJURY, I WAS WANGED TO NOT WAKE UP BUT EVERY DAY THERE AREE 10 TO 20 CARNALS OUSIDE MY BEDROOM ON IN THE TREES AND ON MY DECK. They make me feel better I think they are watching over me so I don't give up! IT IS A LONG STORY BUT MY FAMILY NEVER COMES TO VISIT SINCE. I GOT. INJURED, I CAN'T COOK OR DO ANYTHING NOOE MY ARM. HASN'T GOT SURGERY BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID TO DO SURGERY. MY FAUGHTER SAID ALL THOSE BURDS ARE THERE BECAUSE A LADY HA A BIRD FEEDER BUT THEY ARE THERE ALL DAY AND THEY SRARE AT ME IN A GOOD WAY. I am a cardinal sign of the zodiac. I don't knows if that has anything to do with it, There are also lot of Blue Jays, not as many as the cardinals they are not afraid when I go to the wind just the robin fly away. I believe Jesus sent them here. My daughter and son live real close but don even check on me. I wan to get better been stuck in this apt 8 year except doctor apps. The state sends someone to go to the store but they treat me bad and steal. From me. I am not afraid I am jut tired if being St k in this apt

I have several Cardinal stories but the one in particular. 6:30 a.m. one morning my granddaughter was ready for school I was sleeping in and she ran into my room excited and also a little worried, grandma can you come here? I follow her out the front door she went. Come here grandma step outside the door. She said this red bird is calling you. I didn't see the bird I explained birds chirp all the time it's not calling me, I simply wanted to go back to bed. She said take one more step onto the porch grandma, and there it was sitting on a branch of the tree not even four feet away facing the front door singing away. She said that red bird right there has been calling you all morning.

I have had the same experiences. And with the blue jay I learned about the blue ray. The red cardinal flew down to me a couple of days later.

My Gramma had a watch from Disney that played "it's a small world" - and every time something "freaky" would happen she would play it. My Mum has it now and does the same thing- Gramma also had that put on her headstone when she passed away 8 years ago. It is a new stream of consciousness I think! TFS! You are so lovely to share this with us. I would like to tell you (without sounding creepy) that I have similar stories to yours. Maybe why I watch every single video of yours. My mom died (suddenly) March 2010. My mother disliked birds, I mean, really disliked birds. I think she was afraid of them. I, on the other hand adore birds. Actually almost went into ornithology in school. Anyhoo, my mom use to tease me and say that after she passed one day, she'd come back as a bird, and 'haunt' me.....

I know I watch this a long time ago but this year it was surprising to rewatching it. It suddenly became chilling, as my Mom died on December 11, 2019 my Moms only sister passed June 11, 2020 something about these dates, my Dad and your Dad died same day of the month the 15 th mine 2018 yours 2020. I miss them so much!

Wonderful story... You just keep on believing, girl. My best girlfriend would have been 66 this last 2019 April 14th... she passed last Memorial Day 0f 2018. So we have a minor connection. I am n San Diego where we never see cardinals, but I do love the Christmas cards with pictures of red cardinals.. always have!.

My Mom passed away on 3/29/20. Each time I have visited my Dad since then we have always sat outside on his deck (due to social distancing). Every time without fail 2 cardinals (a male and a female) have spent time with us. They hung around very close to us the entire 3 hour visit. Each time!!! They sat on a gutter chirping while looking down at us! I have no doubt that they are a sign from my Mom! ❤❤❤❤❤I am 53 years old and think I've only seen a cardinal a few other times in my life and NEVER had 2 hang out so close to me as those 2 did! One flew so close to me he almost touched me. Amazing!!! The other day I said to myself if the cardinals are now gone I will know that they were a sign from my Mom. I asked my Dad if he was still seeing them. He said no!!!

For the first 3 weeks after my daddy passed away..a Red Cardinal (male) would visit my mom daily. Would sit on her fence until she would acknowledge...❣

Nice story! Beautiful and sweet. You're not nuts about the red cardinal! It's known as a sign of loved ones who've passed on, coming with greetings. I personally believe our Guardian Angels do that, too, greet one another on our behalf, and since a lot of people grow up and sort of begin to disregard the Guardian Angels, perhaps they use other messengers that are more tangible and visceral. What common bird stands out more than the bright and beautiful cardinal, with the red feathers that also symbolize the blood of Jesus Christ? I mean, to me it is also a visible sign that your Mom is likely in Heaven. Anyway, I enjoyed your story. Thanks for sharing. P.S. Mine's not much of a story but: We have a pair of cardinals that have lived in/around our backyard for about 15 or more years as far as we can tell; we think it's the same two! Could be the next generation; not sure. Anyway, when our kids were little they named the pair Eric & Rose, knowing they mate for life. Whenever we see them we still say, "Hey, Eric & Rose!" I think their love grows. ♥

Wow! it was my mums passing on the 5th June also, as for signs god yes I get many too most are smells like she and my dad come for visits I always seem to know when they're around me.. When my grandmother died, let's see I was 50 and I'm 55 now so five years ago I felt that she came to me daily for probably two weeks in the form of a dragonfly. I felt crazy really haha and I've never really told anyone this, but it was summer just after she passed away, we had a pool and I'd go out for a daily swim. As God is my witness, EVERY SINGLE DAY for nearly two weeks while I was in the pool this dragonfly would literally come sit either on my shoulder or side of pool hahaha it was unreal~it would let me get right up in it's face and talk and would NOT fly away. It would sit for one to two hours and not budge! It was crazy! It would buzz off when I got out and return the next day when I got in! My grandmother was as close to being my mother and best friend as anyone could be and we too both loved dragonflies and we would buy jewelry or whatever depicting such. I really felt it was her!!!! I felt off the wall and never shared that but you enlightened me to do so now so thanks for allowing me to share my beautiful story too!

My brother passed February 25 since had been cardinal hanging around and today I lay back down for awhile and a vision came was a day of June 9 th I don’t no what this means because it’s March 3rd now oh and this cardinal sings up a storm in early morring🙏 ♥️🙏

A cardinal flew into my house today. I have heard that a bird flying into your house is not a good thing, however, my husband thinks that it is a good thing. He thinks that is a sign from his dad. I am not sure what to make of it. Any suggestions?

I Had a Cardinal in my backyard in the screen porch there’s a hole in the bottom of the screen some hell he was inside the lanai and he was trying to get out so bad I open the door I thought it was strange I had never encountered a car now but I love them I am artist I created one on a tile the Spanish tile with the concrete I created the shape of it it looks so real because he could see his feathers I details to the perfection and there was a stick like he was sitting out there but he was made out of concrete like a 3-D kind of Still trying to understand why I found this bird I didn’t know it was a message I am totally aware that this was a message I still haven’t figured out

God is comforting us when this happens!!! The all red cardinal is a male and life is in the blood of Jesus.God cares more for us then birds and He is sending us comfort through signs and wonders.You can always depend on God!!!
