There is no excuse for their behavior. Looks like a bunch of entitled teenagers in their parents car, not helping the situation. Making people feel worse about it. Not everyone is homeless due to addiction that everyone on here just loves to talk about so much. Do better .

I was homeless in McMinnville for 2 years and it's not a surprise to me. I know Derrick btw lol the cops there suck not to mention that the only shelter in town is a disaster as well. Yikes 😳

This is each and every person's fault who does not admit that they are part of a system, because if the system was not set up to cause this kind of discrimination, it wouldn't happen. Everyone has a problem with the system when they're losing. But nobody has a problem when they're winning. The difference is, people who are losing don't automatically hold the people winning responsible for their problems. It's very possible that someone did them wrong and they shouldn't be losing, so they might have a reason to blame the winning. But the winning do not really have a legitimate reason to blame those who are losing for their own problems. I can't blame them for blaming them, though, because the system is set up to make them think that they're paying too much for rent because others can't pay anything, for rent. Homeless shelters are almost all charity non profit religious funded that just apply for funding from the gov., follow some rules, and pay their lazy employees too much. There are no government shelters, there is no standard for them, where they can or should be. It's all set up to herd people to certain cities. The gov. outsourced all their responsibility so that they do not have to give people equal treatment in all regions, all areas, metro, rural, etc... If you live in a nice, nasty little town where homeless are treated like deer during hunting season, you're never going to worry about anyone living behind the Walmart, there, but you're never going to understand what's really going on either. Weaverville CA had their own little club, T Block, who would slam homeless people on the ground, as their initiation. Every once in a great while it resurfaces. I was there, one time. So much equality. Lol they accidentally slammed a local war veteran.

Nowadays street homeless are fentanyl addicts and they don't wanna change it no matter what we do. 99% of mental health issues on our streets are drugs induced. Their behavior is very suicidal. Nowadays drugs are pure evil and drugs addiction is extreme in every possible way. We will never reduce street homelessness without reducing the amount of fentanyl drug available on our streets. You can give them houses, and they will simply destroy it just to buy next pill. The list of nasty chemicals that come mixed together are: fentanyl, horse tranquilizer, sedative benzo, rat poison, wasp dope, P2P based meth, nitazenes chemicals, elephant tranquilizer, and so on. Street homeless are addicted to cocktail of these, and they simply refuse rehab, shelters, treatment programs, and such. If one overdoses on the streets, all addicts flock to that dealer because he has stronger stuff. In philosophy of addiction, stronger always means better. So, they are very destructive and suicidal.

@@sarbantz Congratulations, that's the dumbest thing I've heard all day. You have probably never talked to a homeless person in your life, much less know if they do drugs and which ones they do. I mean Wow, you must be about 17 years old... just totally guessing at stuff based on the list of drugs you want to try.

Where do you think the homeless people get all those drugs, from other homeless people? You might see more of it on the streets than you in people's houses, but that's because you can't see directly into people's houses, they pull the curtains. You think the multi billion dollar drug industry is being funded by bums? Yeah and they're the reason your rent is so high too. People are forced to charge you more because those people don't have jobs. You... live paycheck to paycheck in a city where Everyone is one paycheck away from homelessness but it must be the drugs that ruined their lives, homelessness is a symptom of bad choices, yeah... And they are dirty, too, all homeless people are dirty, just like the people in the houses. Lol

one time a carload of young guys drove by and threw a watermelon out the window, at me. One yelled, It's that melon, fool... as though he was referring to a type of weed. It missed my head by a good 4 feet. But it didn't miss my belly. Hehehe Yeah, try something kind, or at least sweet. true story. 3rd and Rose, Venice Beach.

this is a shelter room for one night a week at the church. they had a right to be there. These kids are nothing but criminal scum.

Personally I absolutely don't agree with this kind of activity, but with politicians, activists and expensive tax payer funding making this worse and worse and worse, and with a big percentage of the homeless being that way due to their own endless horrifyingly bad life choices, I fear this sort of altercation is going to not only get more frequent between people and the homeless, I think they are going to escalate. The politicians have pitted tax payer versus homeless, even to the point of shaming people for working hard and providing and paying taxes, and holding up the homeless as being above the law. I will end with PLEASE do not commit harmful acts against others, this is not the way. Vote the politicians out who are DESTROYING your community with defund/no bail/no jail/no law enforcement. Find out how your DA/judicial staff are appointed and get involved in getting rid of the marxist leftists who seek to DESTROY the USA, the nuclear family and the free market.

these are a few of the non addicts who are disabled, or traumatized crime victims, thrown out of house and home, lost jobs, and were just waiting for that one night a week church shelter to open. these middle class kids are worthless rotten criminals who will end up in jail or drunks.

Must be nice to have money to just throw away. The disparities are so evident, but these weirdos swear that they're the victims. Luckily, I'm still housed, but not too proud to admit I'm a few paychecks away from houselessness. It's extremely hard to get to a point of security during a recession and price increases. But if I end up out there, I would immediately be called a drug addicted loser who doesn't want to get a job and have eggs thrown at me. Nice. Not to mention, in most cases, it takes having already been evicted to get any real help, in which case you're on a looooong as waiting list where the actual drug addicts are prioritized because they are technically more down bad than you but also, harder to reach out to for help. But these clowns are spending their free time doing this and not finding ways to help keep people (their literal neighbors) from becoming the homeless people they hate so much 🤡
