Fact check: the cloaked figure in the last isn't a person....it's just a cloak hanged on that hat stand or jacket stand.....the other 6 were empty because the other 6 band members have already taken their cloak and mask and have become themselves and are ready to face the world....now Jungkook wears that dress and mask, becomes himself and joins rest of the members. This is the ending of the Fake Love extended version official music video......

This is the theory ARMY came up with after reading the HYYH notes... These are the fears of each member: Jin- The truth Yoongi - Losing his music (i think?) J-hope - Abandonment (He was abandoned at a carnival by his mother who had told him to count to 10 with his eyes closed) RM - Being lost in life (I’m not sure actually) (There was a girl in his bus that he liked and he just wanted to give her a hair tie but didn’t know how to) Jimin - Being caught in a lie (he experienced a trauma in his life and was having seizures but he lied that he could not remember anything just to be able to leave the hospital) Tae hyung - Being like his abusive father (He had hit his father with a wine bottle when he saw his father abusing his sister, then called Namjoon with his phone - explains the phone room) The flower Jin protected is actually a Smeraldo flower, which represented ‘a truth that cannot be told’. He closed the curtains on Jungkook to prevent Jungkook from seeing his room and his fears. In fact, Jungkook was not only watching his members go through their struggles, but he was experiencing them too. In the acting and choreography, Jungkook actually mirrors the actions of some of the other members, showing this theory. When Jungkook finished going through all of his members’ personas, he realises the importance of staying true to yourself (depicted by the sand that he picks up and the shadow of the flowers flying away). He realises that the truth cannot be contained any longer. It will eventually be uncovered. They have to face their fears in order to mature. When the items turned to sand, it means that the truth had been unveiled. Jungkook then proceeds to reveal everyone’s secrets/fears after living through them. Which causes the members’ rooms to fill with the evil they had been trying to keep out all this while. Jin - the explosion Yoongi - Fire exploding J-hope - Snickers flooding his room ( his mom had left him a snicker bar when he was abandoned) RM - A fake reflection of himself Jimin - Water flooding Tae hyung - Phones flickering with words (Save me/I’m fine) Jungkook then uncovers the secret passage to Jin’s room, which had exploded. There were 6 coat hangers and a hooded figure. The figure symbolises the world’s evils and the coat hangers represent the other members, who have been exposed to evil. Jungkook has now been exposed to the evil world and surpassed it by going through each of his members’ personas. The LYSY era was the convey the message of finding and loving yourself. Jungkook ends up back in the room where Jin was in the beginning, maturing to find the answer and is ready to find real love. BTW, there are theory videos about all the music videos, so you can watch/react to them if you’d like. I hope this helped! edit: so i was reading the replies and a lot of people are asking whether this is real or not so i want to clarify that *NO NONE OF THIS IS REAL it’s just a storyline from the BTS Universe. V’s relationship with the phone is related to the Bangtan Universe storyline. In his backstory, he killed his father. After doing so, he tried to use his phone to call RM, however he didn’t pick up. He ended up getting arrested, that’s why his “fear” is phones.

V's phone trauma was actually abt Namjoon not answering his call when he needed it the most and that broke his trust. But I guess your theory works too 💜

If you are reading this Jordan The snickers were their bcoz in the BTS universe(self created story line) jhope's mother left him in the amusement park and gave him a chocolate. She said to close his eyes and she left. Thus the Snickers represent his bad memories. All the other components are other member's bad memories too

actually, to make it make sense, there's a story that bighit made called bts universe. it's a story about jin in a constant loop trying to save his friends, one by one. jimin tries to drown himself because his parents trapped him inside a hospital on purpose, jhope was also inside a hospital with narcolepsy and he was abandoned in a carnival by his mother when he was a kid, yoongi was kind of depressed and burned the motel he was living in to die, jungkook was ran over by a car caused by jin, taehyung is in jail cause he murdered his abusive father, namjoon is in a detention center.

The room Jin was in did actually explode on him, Jungkook did run with the floor falling from under him. Jimin was standing in the room with the water and Suga was in the room with the fires, on a smaller scale but yeah. Thank you so much for your break down and interpretation of this video. Wow, I'm picking up so much more from your breakdown. I'm thinking the coat racks had cloaks on them, and the other members already put on their cloaks (representing adulthood/loss of of innocence), and Jungkook is now at that same crossroad. I am also realizing more the connection between Jin and Jungkook (oldest to the youngest). It's as if Jin as the oldest sees Jungkook as a "last chance". Honestly I haven't really gotten into the storyline or looked up theories, so everything I'm getting are just snippets and my own realizations. I find it more fulfilling and organic that way lol. But yeah, this video breakdown filled in a lot of gaps for me.

The theory that I’ve seen the most about this MV is that the members are facing their fears or problems. In the BU (BTS Universe, a storyline that is involved in their music videos), each member is struggling with something and is trying their best to overcome it or help each other. RM is struggling financially and lives in a storage container and he looks at the person he wants to be on the mirror. Jin is protecting a flower (that is also involved in the BU) from chaos and fails which represents him time traveling in order to try to keep the members from their terrible fates (watch a video on the BU to understand fully). Suga was very involved in music in the past and used it to connect with Jungkook a lot and in the BU, he dies or is chronically injured in a fire. Jhope was left at a carnival by his mom when he was young with a candy bar and is in a mental health ward (I think) to help him with mental issues. Jimin is also in the mental health ward with jhope, the water represents his many scenes underwater in a bathtub looking like he is trying to drown himself and the sink is related to when he accidentally injured someone and was left alone while others rushed her to the hospital (from BTS highlight reel). Tae used to always call RM and get in trouble with him whenever his father was being abusive to him or his sister. Jungkook doesn’t have a room, he is watching everybody because he struggles whenever the others are struggling and his overall fear and problem is not being able to help his friends. This is a really long, actually not as detailed explanation, so I suggest you researching and watching videos about the BU storyline to fully understand each storyline.

Also did you notice in Taehyung’s room where there are lots of phones, it says save me in the back and in the end it turns into I’m fine and they both are BTS’s songs that are connected 🤯

I almost agree with your interpretation, except that we're not at the pretty part of the journey to self love yet at this point. I say that because while Jimin's and Suga's scenes might fit with the "We're accepting our fear" theory, in the extended version of the MV, there's a scene where j-hope basically drowns in the Snickers, his hand disappears into them. So I'd say that they're not overcoming their fears, they're getting overwhelmed and lost in them, even though they're fighting to keep afloat (protecting the flower, desperately trying to keep the door shut etc.). That would mean that the end is not Jungkook accepting his flaws, it's him succumbing into the same spiral as the other members after watching them fail to get out of it despite his best efforts to help them. Still, your videos always point out little details and connections that I had missed, so it's only thanks to you that I'm even able to correct you like that lmao. Please keep doing BTS MVs, there are so many that I'd still like to hear your thoughts on!

there is something that I was surprised about while watching fake love mv for the first time. during V’s scene at 15:21 as the phones are blinking save me and I'm fine are written on the phones.

Most famous people dont do this but all BTS mv have a speacial meaning to it.
