Not sure if anyone has mentioned the origin of the "Save Me/I'm Fine" phrase, but it started out as a depression/suicide awareness tattoo symbolizing the complexity of and difficulties with identifying and understanding depression. I believe it started in Singapore, but gained even more recognition when a young college student in the U.S. got the tattoo and shared it on social media. Depression is a silent killer of so many, and I'm so glad that BTS is spreading this subtle message, as well as helping so many with their amazing music.

The concept is complete... is the lyrics of struggles of an idol that building themself as puppets for their fans, and also, the search for a way to escape without finding a way after realizing that they are sick of it. For these, this song is practically the middle of the journey of love yourself (second album of the trilogy). Additional, the concept is complete with the photoshoot that shows them in boxes with Camara and eyes around them. The two (video and introductory photos) complete the image of the meaning of the song for the viewers. It´s awesome the complete structure of each design, which also is completed with the dance. Even the colors are related to other previous videos. they change bright to dark to middle tone for the development. Additionally, we (fans) really love and appreciate the magnitude of the camera direction, the smoothness, and the complete understanding of the dance by the production staff. We know that BTS is not only the boys, is a complete group of professionals that blow away all the pre-concepts if you have an open mind.

There definitely is some CGI in this MV, but they combined practical effects with CG.

Ok so to answer to your friend question. Bts actually start working in a new album from the concept, before the sound or the lyrics wich i find super hard and fascinating and also their albums are often divides in trilogies. I think that's the reason why their albums are so versatile and it seems like cycle of their lives. I don't think anybody could immagine their success they are famously very mature and deep boys Save me and i'm fine are connected lirycally, there are words and clear references between both songs and the beats are almost the same!

Fake love is my favorite song and a comfort song so like you reacting it means alot

The boys are very involved in the final product. They always monitor their video shots after each take to weed out mistakes and BigHit spares no cost. If anyone, be it the video director or the boys, wants to retake a shoot, it'll be retaken regardless of how much it costs. They put perfection as a priority. What they do is art performance of the highest level.

They write the songs based on the theme of the album and their album themes are planned much ahead, like 1-2 years ahead the release date. The members are then given a keyword for a song from the album concept and from there, they produce the beat or write the lyrics based on that single keyword. So everything feels cohesive with the album storyline. For the entire storyline in for all thr music videos, they had it planned since 2014-2015 when they started HYYH Pt1 album with I Need U.

2017 was the year they got a lot of recognition worldwide and late 2017,early 2018 they had a really difficult time where they even discussed about disbanding, they also wrote outro:tear in that time which is dedicated to the other members and it's in the same album as fake love.. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't plan it out from years ago when they would gain more attention to put it out but rather be a more personal song which they really meant

I love that they are paying attention to the timeline. I means everything in understanding their journey.

They understand how shit goes in the industry and yes their songs are very much planned out meticulously...so intelligently and artistically

Bts are the type to olan things out years ahead but then to put it into a song. They take all the feelings rhat they have and thoughta and just make music wirh it; theu stay tried to themselves. Each year they come out with a concept a storyline and they make the albums connect through said storyline. If you ever think but has cgi in a mv a lot of times its not; if you see water or fire its usually real id anyrhing when it comes to making a dream like scenery its usuallt a set that big hit staff built themselves. Army are everywhere and we supoort our boys and can solve any problem or mystery
