That's actually a root bone, it's a very common practice in rigging to have one main bone where the hips and spine connect to control the whole model with Inverse Kinematics. The first bone in the hierarchy normally always starts there.

I LOVE this idea, it's wholly original I think addressing the silliness of it is wonderfully self-aware. @@xxIncognitoxx Cheat back! Change your character to as many "protected class" as you like, to get a unique advantage. AND you can check as many check boxes as you like, AND even make up new ones! Unsure how to start? Pick an unused letter of the alphabet, and start with that.
