The Coral Buddies have been around for a lot longer than C2S7, they had an entire evolution storyline in C2S3, and I think they have been around since before then :)

In Star Rail, there's an achievement for collecting a million of a certain resource that references disco elysium ("Mega rich light-bending guy"). I didn't play the game, the 41st precinct shared a post on this.

I stopped playing HSR not too long after it came out, but from what I recall it's pretty chocked full of easter eggs and small details that would make it a great game for him to look into.

Most achievement names are references to pop media, that's an episode in itself. And there are plenty of references in-game as well. I found Kiryu and Goro from Yakuza series as NPCs, for example.

Honestly easter egg itself wasn't overused, it was title inspired by, I don't think I ever saw letters like this in any game, but I still love this overused easter egg part ♥

Not sure if you've covered this before, it's more of a detail than a secret of any sort. In Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (or original version) if you stand idle long enough when you have pawn companions they will eventually take turns standing beside your character and waving infront of your characters face too see if you're still there. A small and funny detail I thought you might like if you hadn't covered it yet! Love your channel, stay Eggcellent!

Heres one I dont think you covered.. In the game "It takes Two" in Roses Room level when you're being chased by the giant Raggedy Anne doll at the end she falls into a pit of lava. She goes down holding up her thumb like in the old Terminator

In chapter 11 of final fantasy rebirth, yuffie mentions the yuffie recon patrol and then shortens it to YRPs. This was the same codename use by the the core characters at the beginning of final fantasy x-2 "YRP in position, it's showtime girls". A nice little nod to a previous game in the series.

I had no idea I would see Honkai Star Rail in this haha. A pleasant surprise and a welcome one. On that note, on the latest destination ‘Penacony’, in the prologue area of the hotel there are several rooms in a row on each side of the area that have loads of references, one of them being the famous ‘dull boy’ quote from The Shining.

I think you might have to change the parameters of what you consider overused. This week's one wasn't overused, just because it was from a property that gets referenced a lot. I'd only consider overused when it's the exact same Easter egg, like for example if it were to show the DeLorean.

The "Vulcan Salute" from a heavenly being actually makes more sense than probably even the developers knew. That gesture is what's performed by Orthodox Jewish rabbis when doing a blessing (if anyone is curious, the connection being that Leonard Nimoy, who came up with the salute, was Jewish and saw it done in temple when he was a kid)

I'm really hoping the Psychonauts 2 hidden video game detail I sent over Twitter ends up in a video for that series at somw point as I thought it was pretty cool that, after completing most of the game, the classic Raz costume has all of the original game's patches on Raz's backpack instead of all the new ones.

In Stardew Valley, there's a room that can only be naturally accessed when you 100% the game. In it, you get a sweet interaction between you and your spouse. Naturally, there are ways to glitch into that room as well. In the latest 1.6 update, rather than patch those ways out, ConcernedApe has added a creepy cutscene that plays out instead.

From what I've seen, the phone message you got when you called the secret phone number in God of War was the exact same message that you just played. So Europeans got the same message Americans got, only in higher quality and without the need to call a phone number. I'd call that a win for Europe.

That's a first at least to my knowledge to see that version of a back to the future reference. I mean it isn't even a Delorean I mean yeah it's a reference to back to the future but like I said I don't recall a elb carved into a board in other games in always down to be correct though

It’s more to comment on the fact that the same movies get referenced again and again. So any BTTF reference makes the cut, though I agree the one shared in this video is kind of cool. Though the same Easter egg was seen in Rainbow Six Siege during a western themed event.

Quick note about the Vulcan, salute: Leonard Nimoy has confirmed that the salute used by the Vulcans was directly inspired by a hand sign used for a Jewish blessing. As such, and while it's become much more renowned for Star Trek, it may not be out of place on a renaissance Jewish painting.

That’s not actually the Vulcan salute, it’s a jewish blessing. Leonard Nemoy was inspired by that hand sign and created the vilcan salute with the thumb out.

hi captain i found 1 easter eggs and 1 hidden detail easter egg: in fortnite there is a new midas skin that has challanges the first one is called midas rise the second one is called et tu brutus thats a refference when brutus stabbed ceasar to death bc thats what ceasar said hidden detail: in the first spiderman game if you fast travel you sit in the train but when the sabel agents shoot at you while flying trough the city if you fast travel then you will hide outside the train
