You must be the first never had anyone disappointed with an Opn! 1st September in the UK. People who have tried the new Phonak have been very impressed with the phone/TV streaming.

zone1hearing with the Oticon Opn the Bluetooth connection was less stable ( occasional loud clicks and music didn’t come through as clear compared to the ComPilot II). The Opn can not be paired with my MacBook or any other Bluetooth device apart from my iPhone. The sound was too loud/tiring in noisy environments. I hated the fact that I still had to hold the iPhone in my hand to make phone calls. And I missed the option to directly wire the Compilot to my guitar amp. On the plus side: although it was more tiring, I did understand a little more of what people were saying. Especially when they were not directly in front of me.

The Connect Clip "coming soon" would solve some issues! Plus the speech in noise mode. Everyone else holds their phone that way, but good point the new Phonak would offer a hands-free solution.

Love my phonak aids as well! I don't miss having to change batteries and such love the capability to listen to my Pandora or spotify in peace without distrupting others, all because sound goes directly in my ears thru the aids!! However it Sucks we have to purchase another device just to get better sound via the tv.

im waitning for mine! they didnt have it in yet but next week or so. and i hope with my hearing i will be able to use this kind !
