You call it a job I think its more than a that to the majority, I doubt its for underwhelming understanding from patients and their families, or the overly generous wage packets nor the understanding from administration not forgetting all complementary comments DOL's patients. The many I've had the pleasure to deal with are very special boys and girls you make the world of difference and even give hope when some believe there is none . Thank you so much😉.

My mother-in-law lived with us for 10 years. At the age of 96 and in failing health, the night before she passed, I woke in the night to the sound of singing, it was my wife singing to her mother who at this time was in a coma, but God knows she touched her heart.
@susanmillerwilson19253 жыл бұрын
@K C . . . Thank you for sharing, that's beautiful. Her mother heard her too, I guarantee it. My mother also died at 96. We were told by Hospice nurses to speak, sing & say anything we wanted/needed to, because it's a medical fact that the hearing 'is' the last thing to go. Her breathing was labored and when we began softly speaking to her, telling how our love for her and we'd be ok, her breathing calmed, her body began relaxing and her breathing became easier. We believe in our hearts that comforted her. So yes, God knows your wife's singing touched her Mother, but her Mother knows too. What a beautiful moment you were blessed to see, hear & experience between them. Blessings

Relating to patients on a personal level is a quality that can't always be taught. I've seen very "good" nurses and CNAs that have the intelligence and skill, but not the personal touch. It has to be part of your personality. I've had several facilities ask me to train new CNAs, hoping they would pick up my "skill" of taking care of and dealing with people. Sometimes people don't have it in them. Singing to my patients is just natural for me. Heck, I sang out loud before I worked in healthcare, my poor coworkers....

That singing was pure love and compassion, for a second I almost thought the singing would be an attempt to get attention, but I'm glad that I never let the devil cause me to Judge unrighteously based on personal perception... i won't let these social media wanna be ruin these beautiful moments for me. May the nurse keep being loving and sing her little heart out, and may that patient sleep in Christ.

Right, probably they are unthinking just selfishly trying to indicate to YT they don't like this type of suggestion in their feed, and often didn't even watch it, not considering the feelings of the content creator at all.

Gizzmose2002 people love to blame Jesus for all the bad things in the world but what they fail to realize is Satan is just as real as Jesus. He is the ultimate deceiver and is leading you to believe that Jesus is at fault for the bad things in the world. Do not be deceived folks!!!
@Jesus.saved.me.4 жыл бұрын
Gizzmose2002 let me guess, you believe in the Big Bang right? The scientific impossible that nothing created everything. That’s definitely a “convincing argument”. I pray you someday get to truly experience the love and grace of God for yourself. God bless you.
@skroy86714 жыл бұрын
So, what if we were unable to blame anyone else for what goes on in this world, including God, Jesus or Satan? Then what?
@skroy86714 жыл бұрын
@Gizzmose2002 A good, valid point with the thought of contradiction. In order to have a unified belief, or thought system, contradiction must be gone. I have nothing against religion or anything that brings us closer to truth, but religions do tend to be very contradictory in nature. I mean, let's be honest, there's One Book, and how many thought systems/religions have come into being from that single Source all claiming to be the truth and the "only way." But let's not condemn that Book and those religions and say they're wrong, let's just say there's misconceptions and misunderstandings that foster all of the confusion and contradictions, because obviously there is, or we wouldn't have the constant, "I'm right and your wrong" battles that go on with different religions/thought systems. Right? But I guess it still leaves the question that if we can't play the blame game, then what.....or maybe who? :)
