You call it a job I think its more than a that to the majority, I doubt its for underwhelming understanding from patients and their families, or the overly generous wage packets nor the understanding from administration not forgetting all complementary comments DOL's patients. The many I've had the pleasure to deal with are very special boys and girls you make the world of difference and even give hope when some believe there is none . Thank you so much😉.

Lincoln knight however disagrees which he is entitled to do. Antichrist on the other hand did not give it a thumbs down, he used a thumbs down emoji in a sarcastic and childish manner directed at Lincoln knight for his comment, which is totally different. He is typical of the immature trolls that plague youtube. Or as lanna lane stated more abruptly, an asshole!

@K C . . . Thank you for sharing, that's beautiful. Her mother heard her too, I guarantee it. My mother also died at 96. We were told by Hospice nurses to speak, sing & say anything we wanted/needed to, because it's a medical fact that the hearing 'is' the last thing to go. Her breathing was labored and when we began softly speaking to her, telling how our love for her and we'd be ok, her breathing calmed, her body began relaxing and her breathing became easier. We believe in our hearts that comforted her. So yes, God knows your wife's singing touched her Mother, but her Mother knows too. What a beautiful moment you were blessed to see, hear & experience between them. Blessings

Relating to patients on a personal level is a quality that can't always be taught. I've seen very "good" nurses and CNAs that have the intelligence and skill, but not the personal touch. It has to be part of your personality. I've had several facilities ask me to train new CNAs, hoping they would pick up my "skill" of taking care of and dealing with people. Sometimes people don't have it in them. Singing to my patients is just natural for me. Heck, I sang out loud before I worked in healthcare, my poor coworkers....

I am a retired nurse five of my twenty year career were spent on an Oncology unit. A patient suffering from cancer is undoubtedly one of the hardest things I endured it affects everyone within the realm of these wonderful people who have been given a diagnosis that NO ONE wants. I've been retired now for 32 years and I still remember my terminally I'll patients and their names. It would have been a privilege to have sung with ANY of them what a lovely and touching post thank you for this and for all those who take care of every sick person in the world and thank the patients for their bravery as well.

Kathleen Tyson what a wonderful & caring job u did Kathleen,I can't imagine how hard it must have been alright to care for the terminally I'll patients,it can be a thankless job at times but people like you just get on with the job at hand & do the best ye can,I lost both my parents to cancer but to see the care they got from the nurses was amazing as it's been the most horrible years of my life going through that.. It's a tough job & not for everyone that's for sure..I know a lot of people would have appreciated the care they received from you Kathleen..take care of urself..

Gizzmose2002 people love to blame Jesus for all the bad things in the world but what they fail to realize is Satan is just as real as Jesus. He is the ultimate deceiver and is leading you to believe that Jesus is at fault for the bad things in the world. Do not be deceived folks!!!

So, what if we were unable to blame anyone else for what goes on in this world, including God, Jesus or Satan? Then what?
@skroy8671
@skroy8671 4 жыл бұрын
@Gizzmose2002 A good, valid point with the thought of contradiction. In order to have a unified belief, or thought system, contradiction must be gone. I have nothing against religion or anything that brings us closer to truth, but religions do tend to be very contradictory in nature. I mean, let's be honest, there's One Book, and how many thought systems/religions have come into being from that single Source all claiming to be the truth and the "only way." But let's not condemn that Book and those religions and say they're wrong, let's just say there's misconceptions and misunderstandings that foster all of the confusion and contradictions, because obviously there is, or we wouldn't have the constant, "I'm right and your wrong" battles that go on with different religions/thought systems. Right? But I guess it still leaves the question that if we can't play the blame game, then what.....or maybe who? :)
