So many things to unpack 1. The police have to patrol these areas in unmarked cars bcuz its so much trash out there committing crimes. 2. The shop owner in my opinion is complicit, installing gambling machines that attracts the hopeless. People who don't have a job or anything to do but loiter and figure out ways to get quick cash. 3. The officers are also complicit. Bcuz they ran up on him and really violated his civil rights. They could have asked him to step outside the store for questioning and avoided that whole scuffle. The scuffle happened bcuz of how he was approached. 4. Majority of these street dudes are not lease holders or homeowners in these communities. They are staying with someone or renting an airbnb in the area 5. The guy with the red shirt is a bum as well. He and the victim both hang out at that store being fully able bodied men in the dead of night playing a gambling machine, smoking marijuana, and cigarettes and being aided by the shop owner who wants to profit off of the weak, destitute and poor. Its all a cycle. There is so much politics that go into how all of these people meet at the same time and its all systematic. The cops, the shop owner, the thugs and the thieves. Red shirt needs to be convicted and do major jail time for what he did at that crime scene. Those stores need to close and when they do the thugs wont have anywhere to go.
