Video shows the removal of dozens of Ukrainian children by Russian soldiers

Video from October 2022 shows the removal of more than 50 Ukrainian children from the Regional Children’s House in Kherson. Russia claims it moved the children to Crimea to save them from the dangers of war, but Ukrainians are fearful that Russia could try and strip the children of their national identities.

When this happened , the stories were that these kidnapped babies were being taking to Siberia . A few months ago video was shown that SOME of the babies were being given back in a prisoner exchange . Haven't heard anything since .

It is deeply distressing to witness Russia's flagrant disregard for human rights by illegally deporting Ukrainian children and separating them from their families. Such actions are nothing short of wickedness. Furthermore, Russia's continued funding of propaganda to paint itself as a hero, while acting as the true villain, only adds to their reprehensible behavior. These acts must be condemned as war crimes.

I remember they did this same thing in Mariupol and it turned out to be Russian orphans that were left alone. Seems like they are getting kids out of the war zone.

I don’t think people realize that lots of Ukrainian people have family in Russia. I remember one older woman saying she has a home in Russia but usually stays with her family in Ukraine because Russia pays higher pensions and Ukraine pays very little. She helps her family in Ukraine financially. Just like our immigrants help their families back home.
