This is not my first pokemon cypher as I have done other cypher pokemon rap songs including my eevee pokemon cypher song and the pokemon trainer cypher which is the prequel to the pokemon champion rap cypher. I have also created the pokemon villain cypher which is the pokemon cypher before this pokemon rival cypher. Who was your favorite pokemon rival on this pokemon rival cypher pokemon song?
The pokemon also known as Pocket Monsters in Japan, is a Japanese media franchise managed by The pokemon Company, a company founded by Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures. The franchise was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995, and is centered on fictional creatures called pokemon which humans, known as pokemon trainers which are featured on this pokemon champion rap cypher , catch and train to battle each other for sport. Games, shows and other works within the franchise are set in the Pokémon universe. The English slogan for the franchise is "Gotta Catch 'Em All".
The franchise began as Pocket Monsters: Red and Green (later released outside of Japan as Pokémon Red and Blue), a pair of video games for the original Game Boy handheld system that were developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo in February 1996. It soon became a media mix franchise adapted into various different media. Pokémon has since become the highest-grossing media franchise of all time.
A rival is one of the main characters in the pokemon games that is well known to the protagonist and has similar skills, goals, and achievements. The pokemon rival characters appear frequently during the protagonist's quest, having a role in several of the games' events and often challenges them in battles. Defeating a rival may be a primary or necessary goal of said character.

I can take seriously. I did like Hau to some extent.. cuz he kept his word to arrive and rechallenge but aside from that.. it took so much to happen just to see him get frustrated and aim to be better.

This was really solid, happy to see a rivals version. Big respect to Ham calling back to G.Yee verse on the champion cypher. It's still amazing that there's still tons of poke cyphers that can be made still. Professors, Gym Leader (Separate cyphers for each region), Elite 4, or possibly the regions themselves would be crazy. Besides that, amazing job as always Cam!

From the opening bars, I knew this was going to be fantastic. Bit of a shame Bianca couldn't get a verse, as two Unova protagonists got verses (Hilbert and Rosa) and both Unovan champions (Alder and Iris) got a chance, but at least Hugh had his moment.

He is, but in Black and White, you have two rivals: Cheren (the stuck-up, know-it-all) and Bianca (the airheaded girl who's just trying to leave home... at least that's what I remember). I thought that they were going to do a back and forth kind of thing similar to Alder and Iris did in the champion cypher.

Damn this was sick, wasn't expected two Garys on the track. Wasn't expecting Ham, Politicess, Ty and Mix on one cypher. We need one for the anime rivals: we got Gary, but getting bars for Paul, Trip or Stephan, Sawyer, Alain, Gladion, and Bea would be crazy.

It took me two months to catch every single bar in Barry’s verse…oh well, always a gen4 stan, makes sense i was also a bit tardy lol. Seriously though Cam you did my man _godly_ when I went in thinking he’d be the goofy one. And Mat4yo, my god, that was hardest i’ve _ever_ heard him go by FAR. The musical buildup on both as well, just….godDAMN. Like there hasn’t been a pokemon cypher where everyone didn’t kill it but gens 3 through 5 were on a whole new level. Maybe it’s cause that’s what I grew up on, but it sure as hell makes it that much more cathartic hearing.

It's been great listening to nerdcore even for a little while. Everytime there's a Cypher or just a new video you can see how much people's skills have evolved. It's like watching continual works of art deepen with new colors. Shit is phenomenal.

Review time! This was the one that reintroduced me to the brand new Cam Steady. Hadn’t listened to him in years, and was amazed to find that this was the same guy. This cypher has such a strong start, and keeps a consistent level of quality through the whole thing. The beat changes just enough to compliment each character and rapper, and the flows are incredibly diverse. An all-star lineup for an all-star cast. Best verse: Ty Wild. Goddamn this was a difficult choice to make, but Ty knocks it out of the park. Laid-back, cocky, and complex. A perfect verse for Hugh. Runner up: Politicess. This man raps like he’s got something to PROVE. And for Cheren, that’s perfect. Like Ty after him, his first line basically sells the entire verse for me. He’s the only other person that I seriously considered for first. 9/10
