This game completely destroyed expectations and then created new ones for others to be judged by. Literally the greatest gaming experience of the early part of the 21st century

It's so great watching these trailers now that we know the story. *spoilers* The trailer is showing the moment Radagon uses Marika's hammer attempting to repair the Elden ring after Marika shattered it. The cracks on his body forming as the Greater Will begins to exert it's punishment. You see Radagon kneeling, his hand trailing down the anvil as he looses hope when he can't repair it himself. You see the Cleanrot Knights fighting alongside Millenea against Radahn, however you notice Radahn doesn't have any soldiers with him because they had already fallen to Millenea's Rot.

I knew this game would be amazing after completing every soulsborne except DS2. Elden Ring turned out better than I expected and it was my first preorder. Never been this happy over a game in a while.

Who’s here after all the hype of the almost 3yr wait? And now the Masterpiece and Game of a Generation has released. Ooohhhh Elden Ring! It has the claim to be called G.O.A.T.!

Crazy to think the game had been done way back in 2019-2020 but is top tier quality for 2022. Imagine we had this back then before lockdown?

One of the best things out of this games was watching a lot of western devs seethe about how good it was, despite doing everything wrong( according to their Ubisoftesque developement guidelines)

feels like last month, jeez where has the time gone

There’s something really enchanting about Elden ring, something I’ve only experienced in few games before (Witcher 3 and Skyrim). Just something about it keeps bringing me back and wanting to keep playing. I’ve done everything I need to in the game, I’ve platted it, explored everything, all endings etc - under normal circumstances after doing that (even with other fromsoftware games) I just move onto other games, I tried this with Elden ring yet it’s still in my head. I don’t think the game is perfect, there are issues I have and areas of improvement, but damn it’s enchanting and capturing.

In the midst of multiple triple A game fails. It really seemed that there just wasn’t going to be another great game to come out again. Then FromSoft releases a game that not only lived up to the hype, but also shattered expectations. FromSoft is the true GOAT.
