I'm gonna try this tomorrow. The police pulled me over tonight for not having tail lights! I wasn't even aware. He checked and saw my dashboard lignt was out and said that if the dash is out, usually the tail lights will also be out and recommend looking at the fuses. He was awesome enough to not give me a ticket and that's with me not having insurance (I paid it when I got home; I missed the payment initially due to being sick and missing work so I'm now getting caught up). He just told me to use my hazard lights to take my brother to work and back. That whole thing could've cost me much more but he was awesome (a month ago, another officer let me off with a warning for a headlight being out. I've had one headache after another with this car but I thank the police for being patient with me, lol.) So! Hopefully this video can help me give the boys in blue one less reason to pull me over again.

Excellent video, well explained and easy to understand, thanks for posting...I recently bought a twin usb socket for phone charging and it seems to have blown the fuse on the cigarette lighter when I plugged it into the socket, I don't know why, but it did.

So what if you replace the fuse and your radio barely has power cuz mine only has enough to charge my phone and not normal speed really slow and cant turn in the display even after replacing fuses and checking my radios wires to see if they had visible damage externally of course they taper together but I even replaced my fuses for my power outlet and and cig lighter still not working?

In my 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse, the fuse overheats and the chips breaks apart so no ac.still trying to fix the chip

Hi would it be possible for a fuse to jump off the fuse box?sounds crazy but when my 12v power outlet didnt work ive check the manual and no fuse sits on that spot where the fuse should be be.

So you didn't have to disconnect the negative battery cable to put in a new fuse. I was told you have to disconnect the negative battery cable to put in new fuses. But I noticed you didn't mention that. Now I am confused.

What happens if the fuse won't go in on it's slot? I have a 20a that came out of its slot, and now it won't go in, in fact, the fuse is loose prior to inserting it... Any Idea how to fix it?

Good question l have the same problem. Some one hardwired a tracking device inside my fuse box and in doing so I am thinking that's what wore down the socket area to the fuse all of those thick wires coming in from the back of the fuse connectors looked like a real shitty job they did on top of ruining the fuse connection.

Well if the fuse is rated too low it can burn itself and stop the current even when the current isn't too high for the appliance being powered. If the fuse is rated too high it can allow dangerously high current to head to your appliance, possibly damaging it or in extreme cases causing a fire

Make sure you disconnect the battery before washing the car too. Everything always says to disconnect the battery first.

me and my fiance' own a 2008 Suzuki Reno. The low beams quit working. I've replaced all fuses and headlights under the hood. Is there a fuse panel inside the car somewhere? I found a 6 part video about finding an interior fuse panel on a Suzuki site but it wasn't worth my time playing it. It didn't answer my question as to where is the interior fuse panel if there is one. I'd rather buy an old beat up AMERICAN vehicle than these foreign or even these new or newer American vehicles. All this technology they cram Into cars and trucks is useless crap to me. Basic is all you need in a car. Make it run and air conditioning that's it.

phanna kem for motorcycles there is a small chance you can damage your electrical systems if under the incorrect load. I would replace them with the correct rating
