Күн бұрынVintage Haymaking in Ireland is a short film we made showing a team of vintage enthusiasts from Co. Derry, in the North of Ireland, harvesting a field of hay using vintage tractors such as Massey 35s & 135s and an array of other vintage machinery used in the hay making process.
This short film shows the processes involved in making hay back in the 60s & 70s.

Irish countryside is so similar to Lithuanian. It gives me lots of good memories from my childhood summers I spent with my grandparents

The mf40 is a 135 with a back end like a 165 and they were digers

Great stuff. Recall hay 'kickers' , rotary stars, wooden rake & pitchfork; stacks: Cahore Ballinascreen/Draperstown, early 1960s. I must get into a true, natural hayfield again some day.

Hi ,loved the video we had a new Holland baler 276 hayliner I remember it coming out to the paddock brand new had it till the farm was sold

The John Deere was baling at the right speed but could do with more offset on the drawbar. Massey 35 was going much too fast which why he had to keep stopping. Maybe this contributed to the breakdown.
