അത് കൊണ്ടാണ് വിജയ് യേശുദാസ് മലയാളത്തിൽ ഇനി പാടില്ല എന്ന് ഒരിക്കൽ പറഞ്ഞത് ഈ ഒരു കാരണം കൊണ്ടാണ്, മറ്റു ഭാഷകളിൽ കിട്ടുന്ന ഒരു റെസ്‌പെക്ട് ഇവിടെ കിട്ടുന്നില്ല എന്ന്.. but അതിനെ വളച്ചൊടിച്ചു മലയാളികൾ, കഷ്ടം.

Can't compare with Rahman..vidyaji mainly does melodies..but Rahman can do any style of songs..rahman's music has an international touch

@@mayboy5564 2000 ജനുവരി 1 ന് റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത സിനിമയാണ് 'മില്ലേനിയം സ്റ്റാർസ് '. ഈ സിനിമയിലെ ഗാനങ്ങൾ കൈതപ്രം ദാമോദരൻ നമ്പൂതിരി ആണ് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത് . വിദ്യാസാഗർ സംഗീതം ചെയ്ത ഈ സിനിമയിലെ ഗാനങ്ങൾ പുതുമ നിറഞ്ഞ രീതിയിലാണ് ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. പാട്ടുകൾ ഹിറ്റ്‌ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിലും സിനിമ വമ്പൻ പരാജയം ആയിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടാവും ഈ സിനിമയിലെ ഗാനങ്ങൾ വേണ്ടരീതിയിൽ എത്തേണ്ട രീതിയിൽ ശ്രോതാക്കളിലേക്ക് എത്തിയട്ടില്ല. അക്കാര്യത്തിൽ സംശയം വേണ്ട.....! 'മില്ലേനിയം സ്റ്റാർസ് ' ടെലിവിഷനിലുംകൂടുതലായി സംപ്രേക്ഷണം ചെയ്‌ത് കാണാറില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ടുകൂടി ആവാം ഇതിലെ ഗാനങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ /ശ്രോതാക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ live /സ്ഥിരത നേടാൻ ആയിട്ടില്ല....!!

വിദ്യാസാഗറിനെ വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തി ആക്ഷേപിച്ചതുപോലായി 24 മിനിറ്റ് പ്രോഗ്രാം കണ്ടത് ആ മനുഷ്യൻ ചെയ്ത സംഗീതത്തോടുള്ള ഇഷ്ടം കൊണ്ടാണ്. കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതും സംഗീതത്തെ കുറിച്ച് മാത്രം. സംഗീത താല്പര്യം ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരാളെ വച്ചു ഇത്തരം മഹാന്മാരെ ഇന്റർവ്യൂ ചെയ്യരുത് കഷ്ടം

The interviewer started on a wrong note. Why bring up Rahman when you are interviewing the great Vidyasagar. Vidyasagar is a great music director in his own right. This is kind of insult. Vidyasagar gave a fitting and at the same time a very diplomatic reply.

ഇപ്പൊൾ ഉള്ള മലയാള സിനിമയിൽ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ presents ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നല്ല പാട്ടുകൾ കേൾക്കാമായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പൊൾ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന പടത്തിലെ പാട്ട് ഒക്കെ കേൾക്കാൻ പോലും കൊള്ളില്ല . Thamil സിനിമയിൽ ഒക്കെ ഇപ്പൊൾ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന പാട്ടും കൊള്ളാം മലയാള സിനിമ സോങ്ങന് പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകുന്നില്ല. മലയാളികൾ എല്ലാം അന്ന്യ ഭാഷാ ഗാനങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ ഇഷ്ട്ടം പെടുന്നത് ഇതുകൊണ്ടാണ്.
