Nitpicking or remarks from real life where waste is an issue - the "artistic and elegant" chopping off of big chunks of produce instead of trimming (not time saving, as we are regularly treated to "artistic" slow motion slicing etc.) - and the miles of cling film (where a washable lid would do), paper, foil...
