I got the idea from his video too. I used a paper towel for my wick. I’ve run four or five tanks full through it and it’s still going. First time I tried it, it went over 40 minutes on four ounces. I like it. It’s so easy to make, costs nothing and it works! You can’t beat it.

My first one got blown away when we had a wind storm.. It was on my cook table. Next time I will put it away. They are very light but the best kind even better than the expensive ones I bought.

I just made my second one. Rubbing alcohol has to be at least 90 % Heet is toxic and may be dangerous to use. I would never use Heet, Also he clearly says it doesn't matter how many holes, I only put one. Mine are perfect.

Carbon felt is what ur looking for but looks like yours worked good i watched this guy cut open a tangria alcohol stove and looked like a cotton fiber cloth was used as the wick

Thanks for watching pal. I'm sure you are correct. The denim did a pretty good job but the carbon felt I think is better. Thanks .

Don’t waste your money on carbon felt. Fiber glass is cheaper. I use paper towel.
