Yay Vietcong.
Good game but it kicked my ass.
But once I shook off the rust it was incredibly satisfying to clear those hard levels.
Except the swamp one. Screw the swamp one.
Maybe it's the nostalgia talking but I enjoyed getting my ass kicked.
Forgot to mention that vaulting doesn't always work.
Also didn't mention the music but the game has a great OST, I've scored the review entirely with it.

Same, but the fact is that we cant expect that from american devs as they're still butthurted cause they lost the war

Ahh the good old Vietcong... love this game. Because it was made by a czech studio it had a native dabbing. I still remeber the lines XD

This is really special game. One of my favorites from that era along with Alien vs Predator (1) and Soldier of Fortune 2.

I thought the second AvP(I think it's called AvP 'gold' but I might be wrong) was a fabulous game. It's use of light, darkness and shadow, as well as the 'James Horner=esque' soundtrack just added to the terrific atmosphere. That being said: "Vietcong" is also a great game (even now, I will 'fire it up' for a few gunfights) but it's in serious need of a graphic upgrade==and maybe even the AI needs tweaking.
