Thank you for doing these profiles. What an honor and privilege to hear of their courageous service to our country. I hope that Mr. Tucker's family knows that this humble man still honors him for taking the 3rd place in line and paying the ultimate price for our freedom. Texas proud.

Wonderful interview. My kind of Texan. Honest, humble, strong, modest, and intelligent. LRRPS were a special breed. His term, "relevant safety" is such an understatement and yet so true. I so well understand what he's saying. Thank you for interviewing this good man. He is an outstanding representative of those that served in Viet Nam. Native (east) Texan

I was a grunt in Vietnam 1971. I served in 196th Bde, 23rd Div. up in I Corps.

I was a grunt point man in Vietnam from august 1971 to July 1972 also 196th infantry 23 Americal div. Charley com 1st / 46th professionals

Thanks Don. Ctrp 3/4cav. 25th inf. 1970. I was on 113APCs,so I rode.We would get a chopper, hopefully a few days of the week,ammo,mail,hot chow,etc. I didnt have to carry a Ruck.

I served in Vietnam 196th 23 Americal division Aug 1971 to July 1972 Grunt point man 1/46 professionals

@@virgilspence7725 I was the Forward Observer for A company 1st of the 46th Infantry. At that time it was part of the 198th Light Infantry but we were working off LZ Baldy. I was there from October 1968 to October 1969.

When he told that story she honestly should have let him know that he didn’t ask to be pushed back in line, others made those decisions so do your best not to feel guilty

A very human testimony. Excellent! I guess the LRP teams, due to mission of remaining undetected for so long, couldn't be resupplied by helicopter without giving away position. The camera would have to be discarded to lessen that load.

Thanks. I've never met the armed forces so I can't pay them. Why would I? That would cost them. I think Lemoore got trapped by the sudden phone speed change and can't get out of theur credit union debacle on accident. I feel bad. We're t through it together for that. Banged in by alphabets never-ending pileons.

I dodged the draft in 1970 because I'm smarter than everyone else. Went skiing in British Columbia and Alberta for 10 years. Most intelligent damn thing I've ever done in my entire life
